wheel
November 01, 2009
These wheels are very light and of high quality for any price. The finish is great. I have not had to clean them yet, but I am sure they will clean just the same as mt stock clearcoated wheels on mt BMW. I replaced the aftermarket wheels that were on the truck when I bought it. They are lighter, and I don't have to polish these. I found running a smaller wheel with a larger tire ( I run 31 x 10.5 Pro Comp All Terrain tires on 15 x 8 wheels ) allows more room for lowering air pressure with the larger sidewalls, when more traction is needed, such as mud, sand, and especially snow here in Wisconsin. They bolted up perfectly, came with lug nuts and center caps, and sent free open end center caps for my manual 4WD front wheel lock outs. Brandon at Tire Rack called to make sure I was ok with the aggressive offset mounting, just as they called to verify I wanted to replace my stock run-flat tires on my BMW, with standard Michelin PS2s. Amazing service and support ! The also let me know it was recommended to have a 2" lift and/or fender flares for this tire/wheel set up. I had already been running those sizes, so I was aware, but wanted it to be known there IS very minor tire rub when turning if the suspension is compressed, but a 2" body ( very inexpensive ) or suspension lift WILL take care of this if it is a problem. Shipping is second to none. Both orders came in 1 1/2 days from order. Great job Tire Rack !
