I bought these style wheels because they were a close match to the factory wheels. I ceramic coated them prior to installation to make cleaning them easier, which so far has been the case.
Other than taking a over a month to receive the wheels, I'm satisfied with the purchase.
These wheels look even better than I had hoped for on my car. I was going for the look of the OE "Rotary" wheel style but in a 17in dia that the Rotary doesn't come in. The slightly greater than stock offset brings the wheels out a smidgen, filling the wheel wells perfectly to my eye. My only criticism is not about the wheels, but about the provided necessarily slightly longer lug bolts: they have a kinda cheap looking finish that doesn't befit these wheels or my car.
The O.Z Racing Superturismo LT 17" Grey was not my initial preference for a wheel, but I wanted a lighter weight wheel that is strong enough to take a hit of two off-road, when I occasionally trail crawl at lower speeds. I wanted black, but that wasn't possible, as no companies import the 17" LM in black. I had them powder coated satin black and ordered locking center caps that give the wheels a really nice race wheel look, and keeps junk out of the hub/lug nut area.
They might not be as easy to clean as my Method Racing wheels, but they sure look really nice with the Maxxis Razr AT tires, which simply look sick. I've never seen this style wheel with anything like an AT tire on it and it's really awesome looing, like a rally car.
I highly recommend these wheels because of the elegance and obvious quality control. Yes, you pay more for these, because you get more with these.
Primary objective was fully met: achieving the look and vibe of the VW GTI factory optional "Rotary" wheels but in a 17 inch size. Slightly smaller offset than stock brings the face of the wheels out a bit for a satisfying flush look. The "performance package" brakes completely fill the wheel, which looks great as well. Fit and finish is flawless.
Minor criticisms: I wish I could fit OE center caps, or any "VW" caps. I ordered third party decals to cover the included center caps. Would prefer no print lettering around the hub - a little bit boy racer to me. The included necessarily slightly longer lug bolts look kind of cheap.
Overall: almost completely satisfied which is very very high praise coming from me. Would happily purchase again.
2018 Tesla 3 Performance: Replaced 20" OEM Wheels 19" O.Z. SUPERTURISMO LM Matte Graphite Silver wheels & CONTINENTAL PURECONTACT LS tires. Primary reason for the change is to ready myself for the Chicagoland Winters with snow, ice and potholes. These will be my all season wheels\tires.
Car looks great and can already tell a smoother ride while was able to test out in the snow already on Halloween 2019.
I purchased a set of 17 inch wheels of my winter setup on my Subaru Outback. The wheels look fantastic and the handling of the car feels improved after this set was installed. I liked these so much I'm looking replace my 18 inch factory wheels for the spring/summer setup.
Purchased these wheels to replace the stock wheels on my 2017 Toyota 86. The fit and finish were excellent, got them in the 17x7.5 35 offset, while I would not mind if it came in a wider option and an increase in offset without going to spacers. The only issues I have come across are the wheel caps coming loose and losing them periodically, and cleaning the multispokes. The wheels are a head turner and always questioned regarding them.
The wheels look great on my MK6 GTI. While they were only a couple pounds lighter than the Laguna OEM wheels I did notice a very slight improvement in responsiveness. The finish on the wheels is flawless and look really good in gray. The finish is more of a satin look and not really matte. The only downside is cleaning takes longer due to all of the spokes. When buying these wheels, be sure to invest in a couple good wheel cleaning brushes as well. Overall I am really happy with the wheels.
Purchased silver graphite wheel from Tire Rack in 2010 and have been using them since. They still look fantastic(save for a couple of curb rubs) and are quite likely the most exceptional wheel a black Lexus ISF could wear; the compliments keep coming! Lost one 'carbon fiber' center cap last week but was able to find OEM replacement for $14.50. Thank you Tire Rack for your outstanding service, and thank you OZ for engineering a beautiful wheel :)
I chose these to replace the stock wheel on my A6. The fit was perfect and the look was exactly what I was going for. The strong, light design of this wheel make it a perfect choice for me. I spend a lot of time I. LA traffic and brake dust is unavoidable, but these wheels are easy to keep clean. I'm very pleased with my choice.
Great, great wheel. Outstanding quality and finish. Lighter than most wheels of this size and width (9.5"). The only drawback is the lug opening is quite tight with most all 13/16" sockets, so be careful when installing and removing the wheels (hint: wrap packing tape on outer surface of socket). Also, I have found even 265 and 275 tires fit well with the 9.5" wide whee up front on a 2005-2014 Mustang.
Great wheel, use this for my winter tire set. Looks similar to the factory wheel. The chrome lugs that come with this stand out, I ordered some grey lug caps from Audi that blend right in and give the wheel a far better appearance. Using the Merc factory lugs was not an option, bolts are substantially shorter.
I love these wheels. Stock wheels looked OK but were 10lbs more per wheel than my OZ's.
