I bought these 18"X7.5" size wheels smaller than OEM with all season tires for use in most of fall, winter and most of spring for better ride quality. Best decision ever! Â Much better ride over rough roads (all roads and highways are rough in my state). If I were a more practical person, I'd never put back on the OEM wheels for summer.
Looks amazing as well! I get the same amount of compliments as if I have the 19"x8" bigger forged OEM wheels.
Note, I do not drive this car when any significant amount of snow is present. Ford Focus RS ground clearance is too low for real winter use in my state.
Light, good looking, well built. The paint is hard, more likely to resist damage.
Included hardware was functional but not pretty, silver with stamped tops, and the lug holes are too small to fit the standard VW lug bolt covers. Lugs were ball seat and longer than factory.
These wheels are awesome. Light and great design with a perfect fit - wheels filled out the fender well great. Everything came from Tirerack and the installation was super easy. Wish the wheel studs/nuts were black instead of silver but not a big deal. Extremely happy with the purchase
Special shout out to Parker in sales and Rachel in Service. They both made sure I had the correct size wheels and tires for my vehicle, going from a 17” wheel to these 18” wheels. They look fantastic and along with the Michelin Sport 4S tires, the handling is phenomenal! I have 23k miles on these so far and no issues. The only thing I changed, are the tools I use to rotate the tires. I purchased a torque wrench and socket, versus using the standard tools because on my first rotation I actually broke the normal lug nut adaptor that came with the wheels. The socket has much thicker steel to handle the lug nuts properly, and the torque wrench is also a major improvement.
I was looking for set of track wheels for my M2 that matched factory specs for diameter and offset but were lighter and these wheels fit the bill. I also got a set of Michelin Sport Cup 2 tires to go with them for an excellent track day setup. These wheels are high quality, look great and I have had no issues at all with 4 track days so far.
