BBS wheels are hard to beat, and when the RS-GT's came on sell again for the Corvette I just couldn't pass them up. Quality is top notch, as you would expect. They are a half inch wider all the way around that stock wheels, so it does give you a different side wall profile. In the front it isn't so noticable, but in the rear you can see it more. I mounted stock sized Michelin Pilot Sport A/S ZP's. One thing to watch out for when installing these on a Corvette, is don't forget to remove the retainers on the brade rotors. These retainers are installed during production to hold the rotors in place before the calipers are installed. The factors wheels have a relief on the mount face around the lug holes to clear these retainers. The BBS wheels do not, so if you do not remove them the wheel will not set flat against the rotor. The BBS wheels are also several pounds lighter than the stock wheels, especially the chrome plated stockers, so the ride feel is improved too because of the reduction in unsprung weight. Bottom line, top notch wheels -- get them while the prices are good!
