Just installed these in 16" with 225/50-16 summer tires to replace my GTI's stock 18" wheels with all-season tires. The wheels look great and the fit was absolutely perfect. They're a few pounds heavier than some other 16" options, but I trust this manufacturer, having used a few sets on other cars, and I don't have to use hubcentric rings or aftermarket bolts and locks. All OE hardware is retained. Now the car doesn't look lifted the way it did with the OE setup. These wheels are about seven pounds per wheel lighter than stock. The offset and spoke design fit perfectly, putting the edge of the sidewall right at the edge of the car. On the inside of the wheel, the hub is exactly the same size as the disc hat/mounting point so the fit looks seamless. The OE brakes look much nicer without the goofy gap that the 18" wheels had. To me, nothing looks sillier than huge wheels with dinky brakes. The styling is subtle and simple, and the wheels really match the car well.
