Looks great, especially matching up the steel gray and chrome on the '12 Subaru Outback with the matte black and chrome on the wheels. Yes the matte finish is not the best quality when up close - I see a couple of speckles and bumps on especially one wheel but nothing I freak out about - for the price quite what I expected. In fact I plan to plasti dip them for this reason, and may even consider a paint job in a few years when they get beat up - again what I expected at purchase time. The wheel nut holes are a little too small for my lug wrench so on the first wheel install that I attempted I damaged the paint around the lip of the wheel nut holes. Another reviewer warned of this so I stopped and got a deep 3/4 inch socket after which I didn't have a problem. I should have done this from the beginning so I will have to touch up the damage area with a rattle can of paint. I went up +1 in size to 18" to try to improve the Outback's terrible dynamics and it did the trick, at least for the first 1000 miles. That plus the improved look and size definitely also improves the cars appearance so overall very happy.
