Borbet  Type RE Bright Silver Wheel in 16" - 18"

Excellent overall value for a relatively inexpensive wheel.

These Borbet wheels are mounted with new General Altimax Arctic 12 snow tires, and they look beautiful on my 2015 Subaru Outback. I'll only be using this dedicated set October through April, and then I'll switch out to a dedicated summer set. I happen to still like the bright silver finish on wheels, so that was one of the selling points for these Borbets. Also, I had some Borbet Type T wheels on my 2003 Pontiac Vibe, and they were beautiful and easy to clean. Additionally, I always like to purchase a replacement set of center caps when I buy the wheels, so I have spares in case I lose or damage some. Borbet makes this an easy and inexpensive process, since the caps only cost a few dollars each, unlike some that cost so much more. I've noticed that Tire Rack did an excellent job of mounting and balancing (as always!), and the wheels don't show hardly any dirt and grime build-up, even in sloppy winter conditions. When I do get around to washing the vehicle, these wheels clean easily and don't have any tiny grooves or hard to reach spots that hold dirt and discolor after a while. In all, I am 100% pleased with this purchase and highly recommend them to anyone, even for winter usage.
