These bulbs are definetly brighter than standard bulbs without blinding oncoming traffic (I think). I like that they provide a solid and consistent beam pattern without any dim areas in them; best at that from the various bulbs I've tried. I would have liked if they lit up a little farther down the road (comparing them to my last set of bulbs) but it isn't a deal breaker. I've had Silver Stars in the past and these are better. I hope they last longer than those did too.
