Just the addition of the Anti Roll kit has changed the personality of my little MX5 to the good. The car immediately felt lighter and more solid and planted on the road. Not any signifacant ride quality change.. Steering feel is quicker and lane change and turn movements are spot on sharp and the car stays on line better than the stock bars. I have track days with the car and the sway bars have made the car faster and safer and very predictable. Recommend these as your first mod before moving to shocks and springs..Next I need better tires to handle the crisp turn now..

well balanced setup for street driving, highway commuting, and sporting drives in the county. Soaks up bumps well, does NOT bounce when hitting dips, and still manages to maintain a comfortable ride. The ride is much firmer than stock and there is some extra vibration transmitted into the chassis and rear view mirror. This makes the ride "busier" but my wife actually likes the feeling better than the stock suspension. Cornering is much better than stock. No drama in any sort of transition, very predictable. A worthwhile and inexpensive upgrade.

Getting a 2nd generation (2002-10) Ford Explorer/Mercury Mountaineer to handle decently has been a challenge, and after 3 stabs at dampers, and 2 tries with springs, I finally got it. The KYB GR2 dampers really helped settle the SUV down - the stock units, and Monroe and NAPA varieties were tried, none lasted more than 10K miles, and none could cure the rolling water-bed feel of the vehicle. Adding the Eibach front and rear anti-roll bars really helped, but also really showed how awful the earlier shocks were. I m using (now discontinued) Eibach rear lowering springs, and stock (Ford) front springs with 1 3/4 coils cut off each, which has lowered the vehicle approximately 2" all around. The stance is perfect and the ground clearance still reasonable. (the Eibach front springs lowered far too much (nearly 4") and were way too soft). The big tank is now fairly entertaining to drive, the soft front seats are now the cornering limiting device.
