The P Zero All Season Plus is the Ultra High Performance All-Season member of Pirelli's P Zero tire family. Developed for driving enthusiasts behind the wheels of powerful sports cars, coupes and sedans looking for Pirelli prestige and year-round performance, the P Zero All Season Plus is designed to be driven in all seasons, even in light snow.

Pirelli P Zero All Season PlusP Zero All Season Plus tires feature Pirelli's advanced all-season tread compound that combines special silica and polymers. The tread compound is molded into an all-new advanced asymmetric tread pattern featuring variable size tread elements to minimize noise inside the vehicle while five distinctly designed ribs promote performance in all weather conditions. Stable outboard shoulder blocks feature lateral siping to maximize cornering while a rigid center rib increases steering control, dry grip and overall handling. Circumferential grooves flush out water to resist hydroplaning while large grooves between the blocks expel water and capture more snow. Winter siping technology in the inboard blocks enhances tread pattern stability while increasing the number of biting edges to improve snow traction.

Beginning in 2016, Pirelli updated the compound of the P Zero All Season Plus in an effort to improve traction in the wet and snow. Though the benefits of the revised compound are best realized by installing a complete set of four tires on a vehicle, Pirelli has indicated tires with the new compound are mixable in any quantity with tires featuring the original compound.

For easy identification, the Original and Revised compound tires are identified with a clarifier on the Specs page and in the search results.

The tire's internal structure features twin steel belts reinforced by a spirally wrapped, variable tension control nylon cap ply to optimize foot print shape, resulting in high levels of driving comfort, steering control and treadwear.

...The RSAs were twitchy in wet. These tires track confidently in wet and do not hydroplane when water pools on the road...

Since I switch to dedicated winter wheels and tires every season, I needed a 3-season tire to replace the OEM Goodyear Eagle RSAs. These tires are not the best looking tire, but they are amazing performers. The Maxima SV with Sport Package is notorious for a punishingly stiff ride. These tires made the ride much smoother and comfortable. The RSAs were twitchy in wet. These tires track confidently in wet and do not hydroplane when water pools on the road. Dry performance is nice. Since I started a family, I do not drive as aggressively as I used to, but these tires have great dry traction for cornering and acceleration. I never notice any tire squeal in roundabouts. Tire wear seems to be amazing. After 4 thousand miles they still look new. I had the tires Hunter Road Force mounted and balanced at the dealership. I also make sure to keep my tires properly inflated and rotated every six thousand miles. This time I got a 4 wheel alignment. Since they were on the expensive side I want to make sure I treat them right. I am very happy with my first Pirelli experience and look forward to enjoying many more driving seasons with them.

...These tires ride very comfortably, are much quieter than the Yokohamas, and handle excellently in both dry and wet. With the Yokohamas, I had to be careful not to spin the tires from a stop on a wet road. The Pirellis have terrific grip; I'm able to safely accelerate from a stop with no wheel-spin...

I own a 2003 Maxima SE with almost 158,000 miles and this is my 4th set of tires. The original OEM tires, Bridgestone RE92s were quiet, comfortable and handled well in the dry, but I found after a few rains that they hydroplaned badly, even after only about 20,000 miles. Despite having many miles left on the tread, I had to replace them for fear of having an accident. My second set was Michelin Pilot Sport AS. They had superb handling in the corners, both dry and wet, and I managed to get about 60,000 miles out of them, but they were rather firm, which was an acceptable trade-off from the hydroplaning of the Bridgestones. But as they got older, they also got firmer, to the point of being almost like riding on rock tires. My 3rd set were Yokohama YK580s, sold by Discount Tire. Those had a more comfortable ride than the Michelins, had good dry and wet braking and handling, but overall handling wasn't as good as the Michelins. At a little over 55K miles and 4 years on them, they were nearing the end of their treadlife, were more firm than when new, and were significantly louder. It was time for a new set. After reading many of the reviews and watching the test video on Tire Rack, I decided to go with the Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus. While a "W" rated tire is a little overkill for this car, the ratings sold me. And I am totally happy with these. I've only driven 281 miles on them so far, mostly city, a little highway, and have had a chance to test them in the rain. These tires ride very comfortably, are much quieter than the Yokohamas, and handle excellently in both dry and wet. With the Yokohamas, I had to be careful not to spin the tires from a stop on a wet road. The Pirellis have terrific grip; I'm able to safely accelerate from a stop with no wheel-spin. I can even tell how much more securely these handle when taking the curves at on/off-ramps. I hope that these will continue to perform as well way as they get older. Time and miles will tell.

Best wet traction tire I've ever driven...

Best wet traction tire I've ever driven. I drive a little more aggressively than you average driver and these tires are a great all-season option. I drive a WRX and this is the third set of tires I've had over the past 70k miles. I've driven on OEM Dunlop SP Sport 01 summer tires, Michelin Pilot Soprt A/S 3+, and now diving on a set of Pirelli P-Zero All-Season Plus. All WRXs will generally run through tires a little faster than your average sedan due to some slight negative camber from the factory but the current Pirelli's I'm driving seem to be handling the wear, especially the inside treads, extremely well. These tires are also the most comfortable to drive on of the three sets I've had too. The Michelin's had the best dry traction and were a bit more predictable but the Pirelli's are the best tires I've ever driven in the rain. The Pirreli's are a great all-season option UHP option and a little cheaper than the Michelin's. I would definitely recommend theses to anyone!

Fantastic tires! Replaced Original tires, amd what a difference. Immediately noticed big difference on ice and light snow. As the days got warmer, the dry traction felt way more confident. In the short time that I have owned these tires, we have had dry, wet, puddles, ice and snow. What a season so far!! All I can say, is thank --- I upgraded to these Pirelli's.

...They have done well even when there is snow/slush and when the temps drop. I make the compromise to not use a snow tire in the winter since we don't have to deal with snow more than a dozen times a winter (and last 2 years even less) and these tires are fine...

I live on Long Island, NY and have a 30 mile commute to work along mostly highways. The rest of the time I'm using my daily driver around town for errands. I also take some longer trips into upper New York state to visit family or get away for the weekend. I've put 40,000 miles on these tires in 2.5 years. Weather in this part of NY is mild but variable most of the year because we are buffered by the sound to the north; we get up into the high 80's in the summer, and down into the teens in the winter. We see some snow storms in winter (though it isn't anywhere near as bad as upstate NY), and they are good about plowing/salting the roads when a storm comes through. These tires have been great for my car and my style of driving! I have a sport hatch, and when I'm not slogging through traffic to work I enjoy the way these tires really make the car a driver's car. They provide great comfort and low road noise, while also with being sporty for a daily driver. They are quick, with very high levels of feedback and inspire confidence. They have done well even when there is snow/slush and the temps drop. I make the compromise to not use a snow tire in the winter since we don't have to deal with snow more than a dozen times a winter (and last 2 years even less) and these tires are fine. I do wish they could soak up the potholes as well as the Continental DWS 06 tires do, but those are just a touch softer tires that are more comfort and aren't really as sporty as these. All in all, I like these and will get them again over the DWS 06.

TireRack did a comprehensive A/B review of this tire a few years ago and it was at the top of the pack for ultra high performance all season. https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/testDisplay.jsp?ttid=230

I would've liked them to handle the snow a little better, but you need to adjust your driving for the snow anyways so not a major concern. I brought these tires for winter driving. Do not like winter tires, to noisy and I only would need them a few days in the winter. You also need to take them off as soon as it starts to get warm. I might not get around to changing back to my summer tires until late May and with these thats not a issue.
The pirelli tire works great for most driving conditions I encounter. I would've liked them to handle the snow a little better, but you need to adjust your driving for the snow anyways so not a major concern. What I did not like about driving in the snow was that even at low speeds cornering and stopping where an issue. Leave lots of room with the car in front and you should be fine. With the main streets and highways in Chicago getting plowed well that drawback seemed minor for me. If you live with lots of snow and little plowing you may want to steer clear of these tires IMO.
The winter traction is the only real fault I can find, for 2000 miles they have been a good quiet road hugging tire.

...The difference was astonishing! It felt like a completely different car; It felt like Audis have always felt to me: Muscular yet somehow smooth, but more than anything, fantastic road feel.

Bought these to replace originals (Continental, I believe). The difference was astonishing! It felt like a completely different car; It felt like Audis have always felt to me: Muscular yet somehow smooth, but more than anything, fantastic road feel.

I only got 20k from these tires, but more of my miles are spent cornering on smooth but curvy backroads at what I would call a semi-spirited pace. (Tire Rack - You only offer "city", "highway" and "off-road" as driving choices, but many of us live in rural areas and commute on secondary, often curvy roads. Maybe a "country/rural" or "secondary" road choice should be added).

Anyway, I think 20k is not bad for a high performance tire used frequently on curvy rural "highways and byways". I will buy this tire again after writing this review, although the rubber compound is said to have been changed. I can only hope the tires retain the fantastic driving and handling characteristics of the first set I bought in late 2016.

...I've taken some familiar curves with these tires and they are very neutral - not edgy or twitchy at all - offering great control and inspiring confidence...

Put the first 200 miles on these new tires. Coming from a set of Conti Pure Contacts with EcoPlus tech. Ditched the Run-Flats ages ago. I got 53k miles on the Conti's! They were really good, fairly quiet and comfortable, and good in all seasons. I would recommend them. But I wanted something a little more aggressive. The PureContacts were a little slow in response and caused my X-Drive to understeer a bit. They also went a bit numb and light off center. I read through the UHP review of the Conti DWS 06, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ and these Pirelli's. I selected the Pirelli's based on the balance it promised - great balance of handling and comfort. I got the tires installed at Performance Alignment in Cincinnati - they are very meticulous in their alignment set-up. I run a little less aggressive camber set up in the back relative to what BMW specs. Probably why I got 53k on the Conti's without a tire rotation.

After 200 miles I can report that these indeed are quiet tires. And their impact absorption is great. I've taken some familiar curves with these tires and they are very neutral - not edgy or twitchy at all - offering great control and inspiring confidence. I have to say the TireRack review is spot on. Can't wait to enjoy some more miles on these tires. I'll update my review after a few thousand miles.

...Customers praise the tire's handling capabilities, with one noting: "The handling is great, I don't think you would ever need a more aggressive tire for this model BMW. I don't track my car but going over the pass through the twisties is a whole lot of fun, very solid and predictable handling."...

I commute on the weekends, 2/3 of my drive is on highway mountain pass roads with a lot of nice sweeping curves. Then I hit the freeway for an hour or so. During the week I drive in town on roads that aren't maintained that well. I have a separate set of winter tires/wheels so these don't see the snow/ice, but I have been through a couple of downpours and they seemed to do well in the rain, felt safe.

I picked up a bolt in the sidewall of one of the stock Contenental run-flat tires so I bought a new set of shoes. Decided to ditch the run-flats. I Originally purchased Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus tires based on the tire stores recommendation, which I returned after about 4k miles. Not a bad tire, I just don't think a non-run-flat "H" rated tire works well with this car if you drive even a little aggressively. I went back to the store and found a more knowledgeable sales rep, he schooled me a bit on tire construction (cap plies, tread patterns, rubber composition, etc.) and I ended up special ordering a Pirelli model that was just released - the Pirelli P-Zero All Season Plus (not the Nero). The "W" rated P-zero tire has a stiffer sidewall than the "H" rated Cinturato - it is the tire I was looking for.

The P-Zero is surprisingly quiet and smooths out the potholes better than the stock run-flats. The handling is great, I don't think you would ever need a more aggressive tire for this model BMW. I don't track my car but going over the pass through the twisties is a whole lot of fun, very solid and predictable handling. The semi-stiff,controlled ride the Cinturato took away is back. I have put 15k on them and they are holding up well with an even tread wear. Great tire for this particular car

If you are uncertain the tire will be right for you make sure you go for this "Plus" version which offers a no-risk trial period.

I purchased these tires because they had an excellent wet rating and an excellent comfort rating...I want quiet tires ! The snow rating wasnt great, but any tire is adequate in the snow with Audi's Quattro awd system. And these tires are amazing; they are down to the wear bars but the ride still ABSOLUTELY smooth and quiet ! I had DWS previously, they are a quiet tire but not AS quiet and did not stay quiet the whole life of the tire.

And speaking of tire life, dont think badly of these tires because I wore them out in only 25,000 miles....an Audi A8L W12 will eat ANY tire by 30K max. And yes the DWS did last 30k, and that is 25% more miles, but the last 5K were not as quiet as these All Season Plus tires have been. So I am going to buy another set of Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus tires.

I am very pleased with these tires. I had them installed just before I drove from New England to Florida, so I only have about 2,500 miles on them; so far and they are very comfortible and quiet. I had not used Tire Rack for a long time and was very pleased with their fast shipping and received the tires at the time estimated, which was very inportant. The bonus to me was that the price was reduced as they were on special due to being discontinued, and on top of that there was a further $80 instant discount. I will definitely look to Tire Rack the next time I need tires.

I haven't noticed any change in gas mileage. The dry grip is about the same, except it's a little better when cornering. The wet grip is MUCH improved. They also look way cooler with the added width.
