The Grabber AT2 is General Tire's On-/Off-Road All-Terrain light truck tire developed for pickup truck and sport utility vehicle drivers looking for exceptional traction over all terrrains. The Grabber AT2 is designed to combine long wear and reliability with year-round competence on- and off-road in dry, wet and wintry conditions.
The Grabber AT2 features a chip- and tear-resistant tread compound molded into an aggressive, symmetric tread design featuring five rows of independent tread blocks to blend on-road handling with off-road traction. The tread blocks feature multiple traction edges and sipes, as well as are molded to accept optional metallic studs to increase wintry weather traction. Tread block sizes and shapes have been computer-optimized to allow the aggressive tread pattern to remain relatively quiet and even wearing during on-road and highway driving. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts (some sizes reinforced with nylon) on top of a two-ply polyester cord body to combine strength and durability with a quiet ride.
NOTE: While many of the Grabber AT2 On-/Off-Road All-Terrain tires meet industry severe snow service requirements and are branded with the mountain/snowflake symbol, some do not. Specific tires/sizes not meeting the industry's requirements are identified with a "Not Rated For Severe Snow" notation on Sizes & Prices, as well as on Specs. Grabber AT2 tires are designed to accept optional #13 metal studs to enhance ice traction.

Fue diseñado para proveer tracción excelente sobre superficies irregulares todoterreno. Además, es un neumático confiable y con desgaste lento, que puede ser utilizado durante todo el año dentro y fuera de la carretera sobre superficies secas, mojadas o en condiciones invernales
El neumático Grabber AT2 presenta un compuesto de caucho resistente a cortes y rasgaduras que es moldeado en un diseño simétrico agresivo. Este diseño, cuenta con cinco hileras de bloques independientes, para combinar maniobrabilidad dentro de la carretera, con tracción, fuera de ella. Ranuras anchas se limpian por si solas, en su andar fuera de la carretera y mejoran la resistencia al deslizamiento en agua, dentro de la carretera. Los tacos o bloques tienen cantidades múltiples de bordes y ranuras, a la vez, permiten el uso de pernos metálicos para mejorar la tracción en condiciones de invierno. El tamaño y forma de los bloques o tacos han sido optimizados por computadora para permitir, que el patrón agresivo de la banda de rodamiento permanezca relativamente tranquila durante su uso en la carretera o el autopista.
La estructura interna del Grabber AT2, cuenta con correas gemelas de acero, arriba de dos capas de cordón de poliéster en los flancos, para ofrecer fortaleza y durabilidad con un andar uniforme.
NOTA: Algunos tamaños del Grabber AT2 satisfacen los requisitos severos de la industria en relación a nieve severa, y por eso, poseen el símbolo “montaña/copo de nieve” (mountain/snowflake symbol), los tamaños que no cumplen con estos requisitos son identificados en las páginas de Tamaños y Precios, y las de Especificaciones con la expresión “No califica para nieve severa” ("Not Rated For Sever Snow"). Los Grabber AT2 son diseñados para aceptar opcionalmente pernos de metal #13 para mejorar la tracción.
