This compound incorporates Bridgestone's patented MultiCell™ technology, which creates microscopic pores in the tread surface to wick away water and help the tire grip ice more effectively. The tire is molded into a directional tread pattern with optimized tread blocks and full-depth 3D sipes designed to increase biting edges for enhanced snow traction.
Bridgestone Blizzak IcePeak Studless Ice & Snow tires meet the industry's severe snow service requirements and are branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol. They are also the first Bridgestone winter tire to earn Ice Grip certification for superior ice braking performance.
Due to the traction capabilities of Blizzak IcePeak tires, Bridgestone recommends using them only in sets of four to provide the best handling characteristics and tire performance.
