Bridgestone Dueler H/L 422 Ecopia 

These tires are great! I love the wet traction even durin Florida torrential rains and flooding roads. They have been great in keeping my family safe during our frequent trips across the state. In hot weather the tires give a bit when accuratating but they're great otherwise! The keys to longevity is to always make sure your vehicle is properly aligned, road force balance the tires, and proper inflation at all times.

For the first 25,000 miles or so on my Highlander Hybrid, these OEM tires performed above my expectations. They were quiet and handled predictably on dry pavement, in rain, and in light snow (i.e. a few inches). In heavy snow (we had 8" on the ground after one storm), the tires exhibit some traction issues when accelerating up a hill or handling a turn...but that's to be expected.

Taking into account that the Highlander Hybrid generally handles like a 1986 Yugo with an elephant tied to the roof, regardless of the tires it's sitting on, it's difficult to rate the tires on handling or cornering stability. In this SUV, when you drive even remotely hard into a corner, a neon sign flashes on the dash which says, "You're kidding, right?" That said, the tires hold the car steady in any situation the SUV is designed to adequately handle.

After 25,000 miles, the front tires began to display significant balding. It was partially my fault for not rotating the tires at all...so take that into consideration. I now have 37,000 miles on them, and the front tires are almost completely bald. However, the rear tires still have significant tread life remaining.

If you want a quiet and predictable ride in controlled (re: non-spirited) handling situations, this tire is a good option.

These came stock as oem tires on my 2016 Highlander AWD. The tires came in at 5-6 32nds tread at my last 25k Toyota care service visit I am currently at 29,500 miles. Even at 10 K I noticed that the tires started to wear down way too fast for its mileage and would be lucky to get 30K miles out of them . This winter in Chicago I noticed how bad tire grip in moderate snow obviously due to the tire wear. Over all great tire for the first 20K miles anything after that things get sketchy on the road

I wish that they still made these tires as I would purchase another set! Four years and 69k miles later, I still like them. The tread depth is 5/32" after 69k miles, so they lasted past their warranty. I would have no issues keeping them on the car in dry weather with 5/32", but I am considering being proactive and replacing them this winter simply since I drive around for work. They have performed well in all conditions: dry, wet and Cleveland snow & ice. They have been quiet and have worn evenly. They are rotated every 4 months, which ranges from 4,000 to 7,500 miles. I could not ask any more from a tire.

Bought these tires in Nov, 2015. Have only put about 10,000 miles on them so longevity is unknown. Everything else has been excellent. Handling, noise and comfort all great. These tires have been through 2 Colorado winters and absolutely no problems. I would have no hesitation to drive through any conditions with these tires. My front wheel/2 wheel drive Highlander goes through everything so far with no problems. As expected with only 10 k miles, tire tread remains excellent. I do drive defensively when there is snow/ice on the road - no speeding around corners, no excessive acceleration and leave plenty of room for stopping. I would buy these tires again.

I have only had these on my RAV4 for a few weeks, but I have tested them big time on some snowy roads in Colorado. I noticed right away how much smoother and quiter they we were than my own factory tires. I have an all whelel car but noticed slipping a lot with the original own tires. This happens no more with these tires. I have taken them through some snow packed roads, ice packed mountain roads, and they grip great. No feedback on water performance but can advise later this spring. I have been very happy with them so far.

I have never been a fan of Bridgestone tires. They Chop up all the time and never provided the best wear like Michelin, Pirelli and Dunlop. My Brother works for Bridgestone and I decided to try them out on my X5. I immediately noticed how smooth and quiet they are on my BMW X5 3.0l X-drive with adaptive drive, rear damper load level suspension and active steering. I drive my BMW like a BMW and I'm thoroughly pleased. The Mileage on this Boat anchor went up by 2.5mpg. I am not stroking my ego with my reference to BMW I drive a lot of rental cars (Infiniti, Lincoln, Cadi) and I still feel much safer and secure in my BMW, They are just better engineered.

Understand this is a highly sophisticated vehicle with an even more sophisticated suspension and AWD system. Dry pavement pretty good...I know the vehicle suspension and dynamic electronics of the vehicle helps immensely but overall it sticks nicely with either just me or 6 people in it. Wet pavement is fine as long as Im not trying to drive like a maniac. I notice some low speed slippage if Im whipping around corners but for the most part I have yet to get unsettled. As far as hydroplaning and driving through deep puddles quickly, they do a great job. I don't even notice the water. Speeds of 80mph in the pouring rain is not a problem, they do a great job of taking the water away. Once again this may be due to the fact that my truck is near 6000 pounds.

Snow & Ice. Snow Fine. Deep or Light Just Fine. Slush don't even notice it. Ice. Useless. I mean Useless. No Grip, all slide. It was just starting to sleet and I have never been more frightened in all my life. The X5 couldnt make heads or tails of what was going on. Once I stopped I immediately went home and ordered 4 Blizzaks. Not good on ice at all.

The tires are overall awesome. They are NEVER Rotated(Biggest Scam in History) and have served me well. They look to be at about Half Life right now. Tons of tread and not wavering. I am very very happy with them.

OEM tire on my 2017 Highlander. These tires give a comfortable ride with little noticeable road noise. Very good dry traction, acceptable traction in wet and snow conditions. After 21,000 miles noticeable tread wear probably will need to be changed by 30,000 but vehicle will be returned on lease before then.

These are new tires and I feel like I am floating, so comfortable. The service from tire rack is superb. I ordered one day and it was to my
installer the next day. WOW!

Purchase was fast and smooth. Tires are an excellent choice. Great handling and whisper quiet

The gas mileage and rolling resistance has been excellent on these tires. This is a 65,000 mile tire and I have 72,000 miles on them now. I plan on buying another set in 7,000 miles. Price is great and this tire has worked very well for me.

Okay -- wayyy back in 2013 I purchased 4 Bridgestone Dueler H/L Ecopia 442's. If you look back in some of these reviews on this tire you will see my writeups....fast forward to 2019, wife is still driving the Volvo XC60 and we now have 146,000 miles on it and I figured I would change out the tires -- it was then I realized we had put 84,000 miles on these Bridgestone tires! They actually still had tread on them but I got lazy on the rotations and the fronts had some outer wear that you would expect from the fronts. These tires are 100% better than the OEM Pirelli's that the XC60 came with. If you drive a XC60, these are highly recommended.

I have 60,000 miles on these tires and I am just starting to shop for new tires with plenty of time to for replacements. The OEM Michelins on my 2011 Q5 were worn out well before 40,000 miles. I rotate my tires every 10,000 miles and when I had my alignment checked at 50K miles at the dealer it was still dead on as it is now. I have a dedicated set blizaks on another set of wheels for the winter which I havent bothered putting on the past 2 years that i've had these tires. If these tires were in stock I'd be ordering them again without question.
