Street/Sport Truck Summer run-flat light truck tires provide temporary self-supporting run-flat mobility for a distance of 50 miles at up to 50 mph, even after a puncture has allowed complete air pressure loss. They are designed for drivers who want to combine aggressive low-profile tires with large rim diameter wheels to enhance their vehicle's appearance. Sometimes used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on 2WD and 4WD pickup, crossover and sport utility vehicles, Street/Sport Truck Summer tires are not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
O.E. Street/Sport Truck Summer run-flat light truck tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle's original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. run-flat tires' performance category and specifications.
NOTE: Run-flat tires are only recommended for vehicles that are originally equipped with self-supporting run-flat tires and equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system.
Though they cannot be labeled as run-flat tires, tires branded with MOExtended or MOE on their sidewalls offer run-flat-like characteristics by delivering limited temporary extended mobility after a puncture results in complete loss of air pressure. Because MOExtended or MOE tires do not have the same speed and distance endurance of conventional run-flat tires, they should not be substituted in any situation where a conventional run-flat tire is required. To confirm what your vehicle needs, check our Original Equipment tire listing for your year, make and model or see your vehicle owner's manual.

Ratings Charts & Reviews Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport RFT
User feedback reveals the Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport RFT excels in dry traction, with scores consistently hitting 9-10 for confident cornering and responsive handling. Wet traction shows strong performance (many 8-10 ratings) but mixed results, with some reports of hydroplaning in heavy rain. Ride comfort earns praise for smoothness (7-10 range), though noise levels vary widely-some note excessive road noise. Treadwear is a key concern, with frequent low scores (0-5) indicating premature wear despite the tire's summer-focused design. Summer-focused drivers appreciate its dry-focused capabilities, but tread durability may disappoint those seeking long-term value.

...Driven in the wet, dry, ice and snow and have zero issues in any condition, never felt unsafe or questioning the grip of the tire
First impressions it's a good tire for the price. Could be quieter but not really a complaint since runflats typically are a harder louder tire. Driven in the wet, dry, ice and snow and have zero issues in any condition, never felt unsafe or questioning the grip of the tire

...These tires perform very well in both wet and dry conditions...
12500 miles and counting but I'm very close to needing replacements. These tires perform very well in both wet and dry conditions. Cornering and handling has been great and I've put them to the test on curvy north GA moutain roads. These tires have worn very evenly. I will say that I'm unimpressed with the rate at which these tires have degraded. I would like a 25,000 mile tire and I believe the Continental tire may be my best bet. I won't be buying these Bridgestones again.

...Even though these are summer tires, they did respectably in the occasional SoCal rain...
Excellent dry traction and handling; stiff, jarring ride (somewhat expected with run-flat tires); very nice sidewall with a substantial rim protector bead. Even though these are "summer" tires, they did respectably in the occasional SoCal rain. They were original equipment on the car, and I would have considered replacing them with the same tire if not for the price. $265 each? No way. I went with Continental SSR all-season run-flats for about $150 per tire.

Customers overwhelmingly rate the Dueler H/P Sport RFT's dry traction between 9-10, praising its confident grip and precise handling. Even 7-8 scores highlight reliable summer performance for sport trucks, excelling in dry conditions as intended.

...the performance on dry pavement is outstanding.
These tires are normally over $400/ea but were on sale because they were mfg a couple years ago. I bought them because they were original equipment for my X5. I had a cheap brand before, and these tires are not only quieter but handle amazingly! I don’t get too much wet weather in SOCAL but the performance on dry pavement is outstanding.

These RFT's are great in the dry. Except for noise and tread wear. They have decent grip and I like the tread design.
When it's raining these tires (even at 50% life) are downright dangerous. Last night during heavy rain I couldn't exceed 50mph... I could feel stability and yaw control trying it's hardest to keep the car on the road. I was white knuckled feeling the back end slide around unexpectedly... And I know how to drive in snow and what to do while hydroplaning.
Would never recommend or buy.

Most customers rate comfort highly with scores 8-10, praising smooth ride and low noise. Some lower scores note occasional harshness, but overall performance excels in summer conditions.

...They ride slightly better than stock Pirelli tires, and are quieter too...
I purchased these Bridgestones on closeout and I did consider going with non run flat tire, but fitting a spare tire was too expensive. They ride slightly better than stock Pirelli tires, and are quieter too.Installation in my driveway was great and no hassle. For the price I feel they were a good value.

...Not as noisy or harsh ride as I worried with run flat's stiffer side wall
selected this tire mainly because they were on clearance. It was more difficult to get it seated due to them being run flat. Tires are performing as good as expected, or maybe better. Not as noisy or harsh ride as I worried with run flat's stiffer side wall

...At first I thought the road noise ride comfort was great. But I noticed after about 25K-30K miles the noise started to grow, and the road feedback started growing as well...
These tires came on the vehichle. I actually took delivery of the X5 in Germany and had NO PROBLEM with these tires handling the Autobaun at 100MPH+. Very stable and comfortable even at those high speeds. At first I thought the road noise ride comfort was great. But I noticed after about 25K-30K miles the noise started to grow, and the road feedback started growing as well . Now driving in San Antonio where the roads are not the best I hate these tires. At the moment I have my winter tires on and driving the I-35 there is a SIGNIFICANT differance in road feedback between the two sets.

Despite some 9-10 scores, numerous 0-6 ratings highlight premature wear and rapid tread loss. Many customers report needing early replacement, citing poor mileage and excessive wear.

Great RFT, just wish the tire had a longer tread life. This is the forth or fifth set that I’ve purchased between the two BMW X5s that I’ve owned.

Unhappy with these tires due to premature wear... Regular tire rotations and frequent tire inflation checks (the car checks this automatically too) and still won't get much more than another 2k miles, expected total life is 17,000 miles...
Unhappy with these tires due to premature wear. Had a set of these tires on different car (X5) due to fact that there are not many run flat (RFT) options. Considering going non-RFT and just ensuring AAA is available when/if needed like with any normal tire issue. RFT makes tires ride too harsh and expensive. Would be nice if there were a decent RFT tire option that was not $300+/tire (poor past experience with Pirelli won't have me return to their products either). Obviously there are trade-offs when getting higher mileage out of a tire (such as rock-hard rubber, poor cornering/stopping distance...), but this is silly to wear out so quickly. Regular tire rotations and frequent tire inflation checks (the car checks this automatically too) and still won't get much more than another 2k miles, expected total life is 17,000 miles - and that is now a tire that should only be used in dry conditions at this wear limit. Looking for non-RFT to replace. Another reviewer aptly noted that alignment specs can vary widely, always make sure it is set for extended tire life unless you are a track-rat and don't mind replacing tires every 6 months.

Front tires wore out faster than any other tire I had...
Front tires wore out faster than any other tire I had. My wife drives the car and I have another set for winter. Drove on these tires for one and a half summer. Called Bridgestone to complain and was told that these tires don't have milage warranty. Out of luck. Will never purchase this brand again.
