Ultra High Performance All-Season run-flat tires provide temporary self-supporting run-flat mobility for a distance of 50 miles at up to 50 mph, even after a puncture has allowed complete air pressure loss. They are designed for driving enthusiasts who want a combination of a performance appearance, responsive handling and Z-speed rated (or higher) durability along with all-season traction, including in light snow. Ultra High Performance All-Season run-flat tires branded with the M+S symbol are often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on sports cars, performance coupes and high performance sedans.
O.E. Ultra High Performance All-Season run-flat tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle's original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. run-flat tires' performance category and specifications.
NOTE: Run-flat tires are only recommended for vehicles that are originally equipped with self-supporting run-flat tires and equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system.
Limited sizes of the SP Sport 5000 DSST CTT are available with Dunlop's Noise Shield Technology, which involves the manufacturer adhering a layer of sound-absorbing foam to the inner liner of the tire to reduce cabin noise in the vehicle. These sizes are identified on the Specs page and in the search results.

...Low traction in the wet, mediocre grip in the dry, rough ride, and noisy...
Awful tires. Some of the worst I've ever driven on. Low traction in the wet, mediocre grip in the dry, rough ride, and noisy. The fact that these cost almost $500 a piece is a joke! Tires at half the price of this are so much better! I also have had trouble with sidewall blowouts as others have mentioned in the comments. Buy ANY other tire.

...Yes they got me back in one piece but only because I drove slow because it was wet out. If I even drove the speed limit when the roads were wet my seat belt was on and I was in eco mode half scared to even go around a curve at more than 40 mph. Almost slammed into a highway wall once not even being wreckless...
I bought my 2015 Q50S with 29000 miles I didn't even put a thousand miles on them. I hit a pot hole and blew my side wall out 4" gap on side of the rim. Yes they got me back in one piece but only because I drove slow because it was wet out. If I even drove the speed limit when the roads were wet my seat belt was on and I was in eco mode half scared to even go around a curve at more than 40 mph. Almost slammed into a highway wall once not even being wreckless. For real these are the worst tires I have ever owned and will never own again. If I had known this about these tires might not of even gotten the car.
BUYER BEWARE. THEY ARE LIKE A BIG WHEEL ON CONCRETE IN THE WET WEATHER. YOU WILL SLIDE WITH NO CONTROL

...My brother, who has extreme summer performance Falken tires does a wayyy better job in rain and snow, and they are cheaper...
STAY AWAY FROM THESE TIRES!!!
It should be illegal on how poor these tires perform in ANY category, wet, dry, ice, ANYTHING! My brother, who has extreme summer performance Falken tires does a wayyy better job in rain and snow, and they are cheaper. One of my front tires recently started having a random inner tire wear, and even after an alignment, it was still wearing that one tire. Also road noise sounds like you are constantly driving on rough roads and it feels like it too, it’s ridiculous! If someone is telling you to get these tires, they probably don’t like you. These tires belong in the trash!

Winter traction receives concerning ratings, with most scores between 0-6. Customers report slippery performance in snow and ice, with some experiencing loss of traction. Unacceptable for an all-season tire's intended use.

...They ride hard, don't inspire confidence, feel dangerous in the wet and snow...
These tires are terrible. They ride hard, don't inspire confidence, feel dangerous in the wet and snow. Hidroplano like crazy. They make a sports car feel and handle awful. Had a tire go over at pothole and the tire walls cracked/ exploded. Never had a tired do that. I could have gotten a free replacement from Infiniti but instead, I replaced all four tires with Michelin Pilot apt 3+. I wouldn't put these tires in my car if they paid me to. Infiniti should be ashamed to use these terrible, dangerous tires in it's cars.

...Traction in rain is terrible, do not even attempt to drive in the snow or ice or you will end up in the body shop...
This is the worst tire I have ever driven on. Infiniti should be ashamed for screwing over us car buyers. This tire has been used about 1 year, but only about 8,000 miles because I used winter tires for 5 months. They are already down to 5/32. Traction in rain is terrible, do not even attempt to drive in the snow or ice or you will end up in the body shop. The replacement cost of these crap tires is insane, almost $350/ea, at minimum! Do NOT buy these tires!

Dry traction shows concerning inconsistency, with scores ranging 0-6 alongside some 9-10s. Multiple reports of unacceptable grip and instability during aggressive maneuvers. Displeased customers highlight poor responsiveness, a critical flaw for an Ultra High Performance tire.

...Ride was always loud and felt like the car was slipping on dry roads...
So disappointed in my infiniti. My past 2 leaves with infiniti, well I did not have to change any tires from.beginning to end. With these tires, I replaced one this may due to the sidewall blowing out, and now its October and the other 3 are worn down and eont pass inspection. No way I'm paying $2000 for these tires. Ride was always loud and felt like the car was slipping on dry roads. Stay away.

...Way too noisy, minimal comfort, it just destroys the experience of driving...
Guys, I am sorry but I will only be able to write the truth. This is a piece of ---- tire that should never even be installed on factory fit from the company. Way too noisy, minimal comfort, it just destroys the experience of driving. Well, even for sportiveness, its not as responsive as one would think while accelerating. Does not provides any grip in little snow either. A punture in the tire is difficult to patch, and no local companies were willing to do it, so I ended up getting rid of them at 31K miles and getting the top rated Pirelli Cinturato P7 all-season plus. I will never buy the Dunlop Sport 5000 DSST CTT Run flat ever again. Well I am lazy too, but this time I had to write a review for this scum of the tires.

Treadwear ratings show concerning inconsistency, with many scoring 0-5 citing premature wear and dissatisfaction. While some 7-8 scores exist, numerous reports of rapid tread degradation and needing early replacement dominate feedback for this all-season tire.
