The X-Ice Snow+ is Michelin's Studless Ice & Snow winter tire developed for drivers of coupes, sedans, minivans, crossovers, SUVs, and pick-up trucks seeking confidence across winter's varied road conditions throughout the life of the tire. Whether on clear cold pavement, deep heavy snow, icy surfaces, or slush, the X-Ice Snow+ is engineered to deliver strong, long-lasting winter traction and stability.
The FleX-Ice⢠3.0 compound of the X-Ice Snow+ builds on the strengths of its predecessor with an advanced formulation that aims to provided improved wet traction and longer life, while maintaining flexibility in severe cold by generating micro-roughness on the tread surface for longer-lasting grip on both snow and ice. This next-generation compound works with the tire's proven V-shaped directional tread pattern to deliver enhanced braking performance on ice, snow, wet, and dry roads, along with greater overall durability. The design continues to feature wide grooves for effective evacuation of water and slush, plus strong snow-to-snow traction in loose conditions. The X-Ice Snow+ tread elements contain two types of full-depth 3D sipes with complementary traction effects. Notched sipes create numerous biting edges for enhanced traction in adverse winter conditions, while variable-thickness sipes provide additional grip while helping maintain tread block rigidity and a stable contact patch on packed snow and clearer roads.
Michelin X-Ice Snow+ Studless Ice & Snow tires meet the industry's severe snow service requirements and are branded with the 3PMSF Symbol.
