Firestone Winterforce 2 Studdable Winter/Snow Tire for Max Ice Traction in 215/50R17

Only had them on for about a month or more. Little loud with the studs but that is to be expected. Awesome in light snow and ice. Haven't had to battle more than 4 inches yet but I'm excited to try. Very good in the rain as well. Have had lots of rain to test with. Excellent purchase so far and much cheaper than some of the other options. Would definitely buy again.

My first impression after I installed the tires was how comfortable they are. My Miata was driving like a Cadillac 🙂 and there was not noise. Luckily I had snow two weeks after installation and I can tell you these tires have plenty of traction on wet snow and even with ice. I tested the tires on an uphill with ice just for fun and I didn’t have any problems. I highly recommend these tires

These studded snow tires have been working as expected. Perfect for snow and the studs made ice traction easily manageable.

I’ve always liked winterforce tires. These are no exception, we just had 18 inches of wet heavy snow and the tires were great! It then rained snd froze giving us a chance yo test the rain and ice performance, still excellent!

Tires perform fine, there's some drift, tires seem to follow road grooves and "track". Going from Goodyear Assurance to these, the traction is noticeably better, and louder. Not a quite tire. Installer had some issues installing these tires on factory rims. Not sure if it was the tires, or the rims, but they wouldn't take air without using a cheetah bead sealer.

It does turn your car into a drift car when it rains. Problem is, that's not why I bought them. These seem much worse in the rain than my stock tires, but maybe I just had some of the sticker resin still on them.

I purchased these snow tires on wheels for a new vehicle I ordered, however my vehicle has not come in yet. I have purchased these same Firestone Winterforce tires for a previous vehicle, a 2016 Ford Fusion. I was mostly happy with the tires, dry, wet and snow traction. Very little noise on dry pavement, handling was very good. This is one reason I purchased them again. These tires were rotated and balanced before putting them on for each season. Tread wear (mileage) was fair, I thought I should have more miles before replacing them. After the last winter I used them during the summer, once down close to the wear bars they started to lose some traction in the wet weather.

Bought because of the deep tread pattern. Even being a low profile tire, there is very little snow tire noise and the ride is still comfortable. They performed as designed in 4" of snow with no straight or cornering issues. The tires dug in and had no problem traveling at regular speeds.

These tires are very loud! They handle fairly well in winter conditions. Hopefully they will quiet down after some more miles. Yes, they are directional tires and they were installed properly.

This is my third set of studded Firestone Winter Force tires for this vehicle. The first two sets lasted five seasons and over 40,000 miles each. They made several cross-country trips where the weather varied from -24⁰F in West Yellowstone to 89⁰F in Key West on the same trip. Ride, handling, noise and wear are exceptional as I never had to think about my tires or losing traction. I even made one 7,000 trip from NW Oregon to Prudhoe Bay Alaska on mostly ice/snow in late December. Even on completely iced-over steep grades along the Dalton Highway I never lost traction. I happily bought a new third set for this car and this year I bought another set for my wife's Honda Pilot too.

Love these tires! I'm wyoming i can run them year round and still get 4 years out of them.
