Tires are designed specifically for different vehicles and wheel sizes. Tell us about your vehicle or the specific size you want so we can help find the right tires for you.

The Trail-Terrain T/A is BFGoodrich's On-Road All-Terrain tire developed for drivers of crossovers and SUVs, Jeeps and pickup trucks who want a tire that is comfortable and capable on-road, but is also adventure-ready when they need it. Engineered to provide traction in dry, wet and loose surface conditions, the Trail-Terrain T/A features light snow traction sufficient to earn the tire industry's severe snow service certification and three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

The advanced all-season tread compound is engineered to resist chipping and tearing for occasional gravel and off-road use as well as provide dry, wet and wintry condition performance on-road. An optimized footprint helps distribute contact patch pressure to promote even tread wear and features closed shoulder elements to minimize airborne noise. The capable tread pattern features aggressive biting edges and generous void space on the inboard elements for powerful traction in loose surfaces and efficient hydroplaning resistance. Full-depth 3D sipes generate traction in slippery conditions like on wet and icy roads and help produce light snow traction that meets the tire industry's severe snow service requirements.

Internal Construction of the Trail-Terrain T/A consists of a robust, two-ply polyester casing engineered to provide comfort and reliability while maintaining a higher level of durability for occasional off-road use. Twin steel belts are wrapped with a single, nylon reinforcement ply to form a strong foundation with high-speed capabilities.

Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

Winter traction earns praise for confident grip in snow and slush, though ice scores show more variability. ...Dead silent, handles great on road, great wet traction and even does well in decent snow as well...

Great all around tire for someone looking to add an AT to their SUV and truck but not with the sound and knobby tread of a true off-road AT. Dead silent, handles great on road, great wet traction and even does well in decent snow as well. They earned their engineering budget with these, no compromises as long as you're understanding they're not meant to be a true off-road capable AT.

These turned out to be a great tire on our daily driver with weekend trips offroad, mostly dirt/gravel trails. Tires are quiet and handle very well on highway and in rain. Noticeable improvement off-road, especially in the wet. Tires look good as well. I will buy a set for our other Toyota LC as well when the Mich LTXs wear out.

...We did have some snow days and the tires perform spectacularly on the snow and on the ice where necessary...

I appreciate the tires. It was a solid purchase and they seem to operate exactly as advertised I've yet to take them off-road. I'm sure I can give feedback on that once I do. It just hasn't been something I've been able to do yet. We did have some snow days and the tires perform spectacularly on the snow and on the ice where necessary.

I also would like to say though it was no fault of tire rack my tire delivery was delayed because of a FedEx driver. Tire rack address this situation. Solved it. And left me a satisfied customer. I will be using tire rack for tire purchases moving forward.

...We have also had these severe snow conditions in Colorado and they preformed very well...

These have been great tires for the way we use our Subaru Forester. We have traveled all kinds of different roads with no issues. We have also had these severe snow conditions in Colorado and they preformed very well. Paved roads the ride is a little stiff as they are an extra load rated tire but my wife doesn’t mind due to how much has enjoyed these tires over the OEM tires the car came with. The only complaint I have is that they are cracking between the tread lugs and the tires still have over half the tread life left on them.

...We've had some ice and light snow, and these tires handled both great...

After only 150 miles, I’m very impressed. I haven’t done much off road yet, but road manners are very good. Handling is great, road noise is the same as OEM but these have a much more aggressive tread. So far, I’m very happy. We’ve had some ice and light snow, and these tires handled both great. No deep snow yet.

These tires were a big improvement over the previous tires. Ride, comfort, and reduced noise were the characteristics that I saw the biggest improvements in. Traction seemed good all the way around, dry, wet, snow. Of course that evaluation was based on the tires when the they were relatively new.
