Tires are designed specifically for different vehicles and wheel sizes. Tell us about your vehicle or the specific size you want so we can help find the right tires for you.

The Grabber HTS 60 is General Tire's Highway All-Season tire developed for the drivers of crossover and sport utility vehicles, as well as pickup trucks and full-size vans. Designed to combine style, comfort, durability and performance, Grabber HTS 60 tires blend pleasant road manners, a long life and year-round all-season traction, even in light snow.

General Grabber HTS 60Grabber HTS 60 tires feature a robust cut- and chip-resistant compound that improves treadlife in rugged service conditions. This compound is molded into size-specific, vehicle-application-tuned tread patterns. Beginning with a design combining a strong continuous center rib flanked by independent intermediate tread blocks, sound barrier ribs and notched shoulders, lighter-duty sizes have a higher sipe density to enhance wet road and wintertime grip while heavier-duty sizes are optimized to further enhance stability under heavy load conditions.

The tire's internal structure begins with a cushioned absorption layer of rubber under the tread to help isolate the vehicle from road disturbances for a more comfortable ride. The Grabber HTS 60 tire's wide, flat footprint is supported by ultra-high-strength steel belts reinforced with spirally wrapped nylon to deliver exceptional penetration resistance and even footprint pressure for excellent braking and confident stability under all approved load conditions.

...my Ram's 500 hp engine would be a challenge for other tires to get wet traction but these tires get the job done...

These tires deliver! If you need a great that's a great value look no further these are my 2nd set, I have towed up to a 30,000 lbs trailer , carried heavy loads, ran curves till the tires were howling at their limits, my Ram's 500 hp engine would be a challenge for other tires to get wet traction but these tires get the job done, the previous Firestone tires don't hold a candle to these, better cornering, wet dry or snow and with better comfort!

...Super comfortable and quiet ride and loads of wet and dry traction...

I use this tire mainly for summer. Super comfortable and quiet ride and loads of wet and dry traction.
I've used them a little in the snow and they work fine, but I have dedicated tires for winter that I like better.

...Most of the driving during these months is dry (pavement/dirt/gravel/grass) or wet conditions (rain/light mud) and the tires have performed very well...

Been a big fan of General Grabber HTS and this is my second set of 4. These are my spring through late fall tires (I swap out all the tires for General Grabber A/TX tires during the winter months) and mostly I drive city/highway with some moderate two track (dirt path) and the occasional farm field. I find the Grabber HTS provide a comfortable ride, responsive handling, and have relatively low highway noise. Most of the driving during these months is dry (pavement/dirt/gravel/grass) or wet conditions (rain/light mud) and the tires have performed very well. In the few instances where we get an early or late snowfall I've found the tires do well in slushy conditions, over hard packed snow, and powdery snow of less than 4". While I try to avoid driving on ice whenever possible, on the occasion I've had to drive in icy conditions these tires have performed as well as can be expected. Haven't had these tires in deep snow/mud, sand, or off-roading so I can't speak to their performance in those conditions. Overall I am happy with the General Grabber HTS, quality tires at a fair price point, and will purchase another set of 4 when this set wears out.

I like tires that I don't have to think about! LOL! These were an exceptional value and they are just right for me. I have never slid and I drive in all weather. I have never needed to add air, they hold the pressure. I do test driving conditions in snow/ice to see how the vehicle behaves, and these tires are predictable and stable. They behave in all kinds of driving conditions, so I consider them a solid middle-of-the-road choice for my small SUV.

Very happy with these Grabber HTS 60 tires. 30,000 miles of mixed use highway/city in two years and the tread looks untouched. Handles well in rain/light snow. Excellent dry traction. Road noise is noticeable north of 70 mph.

...The Generals ride nice, corner very well, and noise level is good...

Very happy so far with these tires, seem to perform better than the Michelin Defenders I was using before. The Generals ride nice, corner very well, and noise level is good.
Seems to be the perfect tire for my Silverado at a really good price. The only thing left to see is how many miles I get from these, but I really think they will do well.

So far, the tires are performing much better than the stock ones that were installed on my truck. They’re a bit firmer compared to the Goodyear Eagle Touring tires, which lasted only 15K miles, but they’re very comfortable both on the street and on the highway. It’s hard to tell how they’ll perform in Colorado’s winter, but we’ll find out in the next few weeks.

Purchased March 7, 2022 and now with 48,695k miles on the tires, all four tires still have very good tread... The tires were rather expensive with a high mileage tread wear specification. However, the left rear tire developed two flat spots in a random pattern. The tire emanates a loud thumping sound during vehicle movement. The suspicion is that the tire inners are somehow failing. I called TireRack and with very nicely coded words, they basically said, you are outta luck, buddy. Because the vehicle is AWD, all four tires need to be replaced and TireRack warranty doesn't apply because too much time has passed. So, yeah, I guess you could say I am now a former customer of TireRack.

...I got a solid 50K miles out of my first set...

This is my second set of this tires on my Jeep Trail Hawk and they are a great tire for that vehicle. I got a solid 50K miles out of my first set. I like the fact that they have the rubber rim saver that sticks out a little paste the rim to save it from curb rash.....I think all SUV tire should have that but they don't. The quality of the tread pattern and rubber compound are excellent in my opinion and they are a quiet tire with minimal cabin noise on the highway.
