Kumho Road Venture AT51 

Only about a 1000 miles on them now, but coming from the stock Michelin, i was sure these would be much louder. They actually aren't bad at all on the highway. Bit rougher and not really any more noise than the stock Michelin. Very impressed, wet traction seems great, handling is even better. They are slightly wider and bigger than the stock..but fill the wheel wells great!

I've been very happy with the performance of these tires in all conditions. They exceeded my expectations in snow and ice conditions providing excellent traction, good bite when turning and decelerating. Of course at all times maintaining very safe speeds for the conditions, I wasn't willing to test their limits beyond what I felt was a safe speed. On road they resist hydroplaning very well for an all terrain. These tires ride, corner and handle very much like a highway tread tire, even the noise levels are still very much on the low end. Off road in rocks, sand, soft dirt they have performed very well. The only area I felt they seemed to struggle was on hard pack decomposed granite. Perhaps a little less air pressure could have helped because I hadn't aired down and at 45 psi, they had a tendency to get more wheel spin than I expected. Treadwear may not be up to par, its early to tell at only 10,000 miles, but its looking a little more shallow than I was hoping for. Overall, this is a very good tire for the money. Oh, its worth mentioning also, through two rotations now, perfectly even and flat tread wear, and no tires have required re balancing, so it appears to be a well made tire too.

This is a great tire. Better snow traction, especially laterally, than the Nitto's I had on my truck previously. Also better in the wet. And they're quieter too I think. I also get lots of compliments on their looks too! Very happy with this tire and would highly recommend.

Used them around Interior Alaska. Had no issues with any level of snow or ice. Held up well in all conditions from 80F to -50F wet and dry

Tread ware is the weakest element to this tire. However, these tires are amazing for truck, on an unplowed road with 42" of snow was boat waking off the front bumper just chugging along. Road noise is minimal, MPGs dipped a bit, but given the unflappable abilities I would buy these again given the negatives.

So to start out, these are a fantastic tire in my experience. Never have had any complaints so far while on dry roads and your average dirt roads, they grip great, and feel predictable on how they will react. I don't notice really any road noise, and they seem to be wearing great so far, and they have barely worn. The only time I have needed 4wd is when I'm in deep snow (12+ in) or in very slick mud. Where I live in Colorado, the weather is as predictable as watching a rat run from a snake. 4wd in the snow, these tires are unbeatable, they feel like they might as well be on dry road. I will say, when in very slick mud, they turned into slicks due to mud not expelling from the tire, but an increase in the RPM, and the mud flies off. I have already recommended them to my friends, and would buy them again!

I really like the look of these tires and for the person that goes off road occasionally they are a pretty decent tire. Noise is good and the ride is good. My only complaint and its a big one is they just don't last long. I read somewhere they are a 40,000 mile tire. I will be lucky to get 30,000. They wore out fadt. At 20,000 miles the wet traction iss starting to trail off. Dry traction is still good. If they would last longer I would definitely buy again.

Good tire value. Wears a little fast, but sticks to the surface whatever you throw at it. I've had good luck with Kuhmo tires and continue to buy and use them.

I've put about 20k on these, the road noise is only slightly more than the stock Michelins these replaced. No annoying whine/or tread noise. Great traction, and handling. Bit rougher rider, but they are AT tires!

Would definitely purchase again!

Surprisingly good ride for tire with this load rating some noise but it's all terrain tire so not more than I expected and overall better then the price would suggest I have spent more and not been this satisfied I went all terrain because I tow a large trailer and sometimes in dirt and gravel areas and the street tires normally found on these 3/4 ton vans would get stuck these haven't so I'm happy there too wet has been good as well waiting for snow but I don't expect them to let me down

I haven't had a lot of opportunity to take these off road yet but their daily driver characteristics are great for an all terrain. Ride smooth and quiet, even compared to a lot of car all seasons, and are amazing in the snow. For my daily drivers, I tend to prioritize bad weather performance. I had Hankook Dynapro AT-M's on my previous truck and the Kumho's destroy the Hankooks in the snow. Driven through several blizzards with cars in the ditch every 1/4 mile and not a hint of instability with these tires, even in 2wd. Ice, slush, powder, water, they do it all with confidence and without making normal highway driving miserable. Only downside is I did lose 1mpg compared to the old, hardened Goodyear Wranglers that were on it previously.

Follow up from an earlier initial rating. Note....Job and hobbies depend on high levels of off road traction. Truck came OE with Michelin LTX AT2 tires. Great performance...I had no complaints. Michelins wore out at 42000, but for me that was OK....they had great traction. They also had a very healthy replacement price. So I tried the Kumho AT51. 46000 miles later they are worn significantly and I am replacing....with another set of Kumho AT51. I see some folks are dissatisfied with the wear, but for me 46000 was totally acceptable. These tires take me ANYWHERE i need or want to go. Kind of like having a max traction tire without all the highway noise. Tires have very good ride at 35 psi. I need the Severe Snow Service rating and these tires never let me down. If I get another 46000, I will be very happy and will probably buy a third set. With these tires and the Tundra's 4 wheel drive system, I have been pleasently amazed at some of the conditions I have traversed.

Bought these based on review and price exceeded my expectations. Road noise is excellent ride is nice. Great highway tires for long trips and excellent around town.Treadwear exceeded all my expectations. Would definitely buy again

Purchased these in 2016 for my 2012 1500 Ram Express. I mean, they get the job done in CA for a light-duty truck. They handle well in dry and rainy conditions. Snow exposure was limited to winter trips to the Sierras, where they performed well in light snow. I've been most impressed by the tread wear (or lack thereof). After 50k+ miles the tread is decent. They'd probably last another 10k miles, were it not that I hit a couple of nails.
