The Dynapro AT-M (RF10) is Hankook's premium On-Road All-Terrain Light Truck tire developed for light trucks, vans and sport utility vehicles. Introduced as Original Equipment on 2015 model year Ford F-150 pickups, Dynapro AT-M tires are now available in a range of sizes that offer Hankook's best all-terrain grip and acceleration both on- and off-road.

Hankook Dynapro AT-M Hankook's specialty light truck compound is molded into a wide, independent block, symmetric tread design with an enlarged footprint to enhance grip and acceleration while resisting uneven wear. A wraparound tread design gives a rugged look, increases traction in muddy and snowy conditions and helps guard against cuts and bruises. Stone ejectors in the center and shoulder grooves help prevent tire damage from stone drilling or external impacts while tiered side grooves and scallop grooves between the tread blocks increase the number of biting edge to enhance off-road and wintertime traction.

The tire's internal structure features two high-strength steel belts reinforced with a spirally wrapped nylon cap ply to combine strength and ride quality. A polyester casing promotes ride quality and rim flange protectors help guard expensive wheels from accidental curb damage.

NOTE: While most Hankook Dynapro AT-M (RF10) tires meet the industry's severe snow service requirements (and are branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol), selected tires do not. Specific tires/sizes not meeting the industry's severe snow service requirements are identified with a "Not Rated For Severe Snow" notation on Specs.

Hankook Dynapro AT-M Reviews

Feedback consistently shows the Hankook Dynapro AT-M delivers excellent dry traction (frequent 9-10 scores) and strong wet performance with reliable hydroplaning resistance, aligning well with its all-terrain purpose. Winter capabilities earn praise in snow and deep snow conditions, though ice traction shows more variability (some 6-7 scores). Drivers highlight above-average comfort with smooth ride quality and minimal noise for an all-terrain tire. Treadwear receives consistent positive marks, with many users noting durability across varied surfaces. While a few lower winter scores suggest cautious driving on ice, the tire's core strengths in dry/wet traction and rugged terrain performance make it a solid choice for on-road adventurers.

...In the rain I would rate them as slightly above average as they do very good in standing water. They do not have any issues with hydro plaining. Braking distance on wet pavement is average...

Tires came OEM on my Nissan Frontier Pro 4X. They rode well with no vibration. They absorb impact from pot holes, debris and so forth very well. Tires seem quite. The only noise I can detect in most driving conditions is wind noise from the cab of the truck. On rough pavement they do make some noise but all tires do. Traction has been really good. They perform far above expectations off road and in snow. Most of the time I don't even need 4 wheel drive. In the rain I would rate them as slightly above average as they do very good in standing water. They do not have any issues with hydro plaining. Braking distance on wet pavement is average. As far as wear goes I have 42700 miles on this set and I am at 3/32 to 4/32 depending on where you take your measurement. I am sure if it wasn't for the hilly curvy roads here in northeast TN that they would have gone further. I also know there are tires on the market that will out wear them. My best friend has a Frontier Midnight that came with the Dynapro HT's and he got 90,000 on his first set (mostly highway). Anyway these tires are good. They are Safe. They inspire confidence in adverse conditions. That said I just ordered 3 more (I plan to move my spare to the ground as the fourth since it is unused.). Maybe next time I will try a different tire but I don't see any reason why. These are good to excellent tires no matter the criteria on which they are judged.

Performs very well in snow and ice. Light throttle input is required when starting from a stop when on a wet road. But once you are moving they grip very well. I would buy again and recommend them to friends and family. Good value.

...They are great in the rain, very confidence inspiring...

I am approaching 60k miles on these tires which I purchased in June of 2016 from Tire Rack in the standard "P" load rating. I have a job that I have to be at in all weather, so snow performance was a big deal for me. The M+S rating was a must-have for me when I was shopping for tires. I also do some beach driving in the summer time, so an all terrain was the right tire for me. They are great in the rain, very confidence inspiring. They are also great in the deep sand. I keep them at 35psi and I've never had a problem on the beach, never even had to air-down.

After 60k miles the tires have worn VERY evenly with regular pressure checks and about 7500 mile rotations. They're just starting to get a little slippery in the rain. The tires have also been very quiet for an all terrain throughout their life, they're just starting to get a little noisy, but it's still very tolerable. I'm looking to replace them with the same tire but in 265/75/16 for a little height (adds about an inch.)

All in all I'm very pleased with the Hankooks and I'm excited to get the larger size mounted on the truck. I'd recomend these tires to anyone looking for a mild, quiet, comfortable riding, all terrain tire.

I have had these tires for a little over a year. I was concerned about their performance in the snow from a couple bad reviews. But with such a good price I had to try them. And the did not disappoint. Not sure what others were talking about. On my F150 these tires have been great. Only complaint if any is that they almost feel a little too responsive. Took a little getting used to. Would certainly buy again.

...Good dry corning, braking, acceleration, and nice ride with no noticeable noise...

At 55,000 miles I was shopping for tires to replace the factory Michelin LTX AT2's on my '19 Tundra Crewmax 4WD. Price and performance were considerations. I read reviews on the Dynapros, most of which were very positive. The pricing was better than most competitors, especially considering the Severe Weather Rating that I wanted for visiting family in the mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania. I got the tires, they mounted and balanced easily. First impressions were good. Good dry corning, braking, acceleration, and nice ride with no noticeable noise.

My first drive on wet roads changed my impression. These tires are on par with some of the worst performing truck tires I've had when it comes to wet traction. They hydroplane often, spin tire on moderate acceleration, and the rear of my truck sometimes kicks out. I wondered how these could be Severe Weather Rated if they can't handle a day of misty rain? I finally got to drive in winter weather. Wet snow that turned to slush. The tires were awful. Rear of truck kicked out at 38 MPH on a curve, traction control light flashed when the tires spun as I tried to leave a green light. I could get the Michelins to spin if I wanted. The Hankooks spin when I don't want them to.

It's a shame because they have been great on long highway trips, balanced well, ride comfortably, and were priced well. But, I bought them to tackle snowy weather and get my family and I safely through the mountains of PA when visiting and on my local backroads when it's bad outside. They don't inspire confidence on anything but dry road so they fail at their intended purpose. I've varied tire pressure by up to 6 lbs in 2lb increments and it didn't help. They are wearing well with rotating at 5k mile intervals. My next tires might by Nokians as I had great luck in the past with them.

...On dry southern California pavement the traction is fine.

Hankook Dynapro AT-M’s

The Good (at least “decent”) were on a used Nissan Frontier 2WD pickup when I bought it. I presume these were factory tires. I’ve put 10k miles on them myself; I believe the tires have 30K on them (the truck is now at 30k miles) and they still have a decent amount of tread left.

A) They wear long and even and they track straight.
B) On dry southern California pavement the traction is fine.

The Bad (unacceptable)
A) These tires have horrible wet weather traction. This little truck will get stuck on wet grass on flat ground even with 200 lbs of sand bags over each rear tire and with the rear end differential locked. In wet weather they are unusable. In snow? "Fuggettaboutit!"
B) The tires are getting louder and louder and louder as they wear.

Given the other options, I wouldn’t buy them no way, no how for an “All Terrain” tire.

No way these are a “winter tire”. I believe Mr. T would say, “I piddee-da foo' who puts them on a truck in the snow.”

These tires are very compliant and quiet...

These were the OE tires on my Frontier Pro 4x. I use this truck for commuting, hauling my camper, and some off-highway adventures. This tire has been a long haul workhorse. At 57K miles, they could probably go a little longer if I just used the truck on pavement without the trailer. These tires are very compliant and quiet. Off road they will pick up mud and gravel. Icy mountian fire roads show a little slippage, which is more of a challenge on descents than during a climb. As for the trailer, they are very stable in cornering and on highway. Good choice from Nissan to use these as OE for the truck.

These tires held up for for 9 years and 100,000 miles!... It's finally time to replace them due to tread wear and I think I'll stick with these tires.

These tires held up for for 9 years and 100,000 miles! Need I say more? 95% around town 5% off road (some trails, some off trail), mostly in the Colorado Rockies. Handled impressively on roads, mud, ice, and snow up to about 6". The one time I struggled with traction was in about 6" on untouched wet, spring snow with about 150lbs of gear and 300lbs of (two) people. They handled towing about a 4000lb trailer plus 800lb of gear (inside SUV) for 2000 miles at a stretch 6 times. It's finally time to replace them due to tread wear and I think I'll stick with these tires.
