Tire Rack Rolling Tire Storage Rack

I was concerned with the quality and strength of this rack to support eight wheels. When it arrived you knew they didn't skimp. The box weighed 99 lbs. The packing was superb, not even a rattle. All welds were spot on, no scratches and everything lined up perfectly. It is made of 1.5" steel tubing. This thing is built. Took me about an hour to set up. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Now I won't have to lug wheels up and down the stairs, from and to the basement, twice a year

Love this rack, I am going to purchase another 3 , one more for tires and wheels, 2 more for Oil change cart, and drain system that is mobile, and one for tire service equipment including 2 large jacks, stands, and spreader bars, as well as a place to mount and store the torquewrenches, impact guns, torque sticks, and TPMS supplies. that way they can be rolled quickly in and out of the shop for outside work. Next we need Tire Rack to provide heavy weatherproof covers for outside storage!

Very sturdy, well built rack. Feels like it will last a lifetime. The reason for a rating of 8 vs 10 is that the black finish on the tubes is very thin. While tightening the bolts, the finish chipped off around the bolts. No big deal but I wish the finish were a little tougher or the area where the bolts engage the tubes was designed differently. In terms of assembly, it was easy to put together and the 5" casters are great. However, I received a shelf that had the brackets welded on the wrong way so it wouldn't fit properly. After a lot of back and forth with Tire Rack and the manufacturer, the issue was finally resolved and 2 weeks later, I finally had the replacement tray shipped to me. Fits perfectly now.
