Truly a great little compressor! I managed to get about 20 years of occasional usage from a cheap 12V powered compressor, but this one is better in every respect: it's quieter, it has a longer power cable, it doesn't overheat, and it's very sturdy. FYI: the fit is a little tight in the carrying bag.
I have tried many portable inflators in the past, and this unit is by far the best. It is very well made using high quality materials. It comes with its own carrying case. The heat sink is a real heat sink, not a plastic look-a-like as on some cheaper units. The compressor can inflate really fast and isn't overly loud. I only gave it 9/10 for functionality, because I wish that it had auto turn-off. The gauge is also a bit hard for me to read without glasses. Otherwise this is an outstanding unit. Highly recommended!
Received unit and plugged in to my vehicle to make sure it operates. I works, and it will give me peace of mind the next time I go on a road trip. It is also small and light enough to carry in the saddle bags or tour pack on my Harley. So far I am satisfied.
This is a good, solid portable compressor. I bought it for winter use on my Bolt EV, which has no spare tire. It’s light and small enough to carry in the back all the time and use for tasks besides emergencies.
The only issue I have is the usual one with little compressors – the pressure gauge is unusable while the unit is running. It would be great if someone could figure this one out.
I purchased this pump for my wife's car. Two main requirements were that it had to use a 12v, cigarette lighter type power source, and it had to pump a tire relatively quickly/ efficiently. So far, this pump seems to fill both requirements (I have "bench tested" it, but have not needed it to get me out of a tough situation yet). That said, I am impressed with the quality, and would recommend this unit to anyone who needs a pump, but doesn't want an underhood connection.
This is the second one I have owned. I also purchased a higher (more expensive different brand) and this one works just as good (other one does have a nice long air hose). Tires always need a little air and nice to have this around. Would definitely recommend keeping one in your vehicle (along with a jump pack and fist aid kit)
I needed to be able to adjust tire pressures when autocrossing and also needed to carry something for my occasional motorhome needs: 19.5" tires @90#. This compressor has been great for both situations: I only needed a few extra pounds in one RV tire one time, and use at the autocross was adding about 5# to each tire, and was quick and not too noisy. There are a lot of products that will not do the high pressure fill and this is a cost-effective solution.
The only shortfall was with the RV and I solved that with a cigarette lighter extension cord.
Plug the power cord into your lighter. Screw the air hose onto your valve stem. Flip the on off switch. It has a built in air gauge and a tops off air pressure fast. Surprisingly good quality, compact and comes with a zippered carrying case.
Great for topping off tires during winter/summer tire change overs and adjustments during track events.
Or simply have onboard for piece of mind. What's not to like?
This is an excellent, high-quality, little unit. It's well built, sturdy, and a lot quieter than other plug in air compressors I've owned. The built in gauge and LED are nice features for night time use.
I am a track junkie for BMW and Mercedes cars. I have used one of these air compressors for 3 years and it works great. It is the fastest small air compressor I have used and I have tried several makes . Small, compact and easy to carry in the trunk of a car or suv. You will not be disappointed. Easy to read air gauge on top of compressor. Very fast inflation for such a small device.
This is a great little compressor for emergency use. We have used it to air up low tires and even fill sleeping pads for camping. It's actually fairly quiet for this type of compressor and the build quality is top notch.
