Had dead TPMS sensors replaced at local tire shop, but they were unable to program them. (Not really happy about that part, but that's a different story!) The tire folks recommended taking it to the dealership for that last piece of the repair.
Two local Toyota dealerships - both of them brought the attitude, and both of them quoted $$$ or $$$$ to program the system.
In short, this tool SAVED THE DAY. It arrived from TireRack ready to use, with clear instructions. Literally, in less time than it would take to drive to the Toyota place, I had fixed it myself.
From now on, the dealership can keep their attitude, and I can keep my money. 👍
This tool seemed kind of expensive, but considering the cost of paying a mechanic to do it (and scheduling it) at the start and end of each snow tire season, it's worth the price.

Purchased so that I could mount my own snow tires and back again. Great product but lacking in included instructions, for someone who has never used a similar product before. Hit their web page and got my answers and completed the upload. Wish that these companies (auto tech device) would have cross over software for updates. Not everyone cares to deal with Microsoft software on their computers,notebooks, tablets or phones. Overall happy with the purchase. I would recommend it if you have the need and cash.
