    Noisy pads when cold at slow speeds and coming to a stop. Certainly minimal brake dust as compared to traditional, non ceramic compounds. Coming off a highway off ramp, I do feel the need to apply liberal pressure to the pedal to get the pads to grip. The initial bit is less than traditional compounds especially when traveling at highways speeds in the rain. If your car is not equipped with automatic brake scrubbers, which constantly pulse the pads to wipe water off the rotor, then good luck getting bite on the highway in the rain. It s a scary sensation rolling down the highway for a while, not having touched the brakes, then have to hit the brakes only to find about 1 second goes by without any grip at all. One final note, the pads and rotors definitely last longer than traditional metallic compounds. After 25,000 miles the pads and rotors, I m showing almost no lip on the rotor yet.

    Poor track brake. I spoke with a Tire Rack rep. and he highly recommended them for HPDE. Very poor brake pad for the track!

    Update to previous review. Still no dusting after almost 30,000 miles, still smooth. I already purchased new ceramic pads because I thought I needed them and my mechanic said no need, still going strong! I don t know what the other reviewer is talking about heavy dusting, my OEM pads dusted my rims almost black just a few days after every car wash. The Centric ceramics don t show any dusting whatsoever after weeks of driving without a wash!
