Important Note:

Brakes are a safety critical part of a motor vehicle. Brake components should be installed by a competent mechanic in a professional manner. Any incorrect installation of brake components can cause a major safety problem or an accident. If you are not a competent and qualified mechanic you should not attempt to install these products, but should take the vehicle to a vehicle dealer or competent automotive mechanic for their installation.

Disc brake pads and rotors are wear items and as such, should be inspected regularly and replaced as necessary. Read More.

Brembo's Low-Met range of brake pads is designed to meet and exceed strict OE standards while delivering improved braking performance even in adverse conditions. Brembo's Low-Met brake pads feature carefully selected low-metallic compounds that improve stopping distances and overall pad grip, simultaneously increasing safety on the road. Low-Met pads reduce noise and vibration levels, while also providing the necessary friction and grip even after several occasions of heavy braking. Excess heat caused by braking is one of the main factors that lead to brake fade. With Low-Met pads, you can count on improved temperature resistance up to 660/750°F (350/400°C).

Brembo Low-Met brake pads fit a variety of vehicles from premium European, to Asian and American vehicle brands.

These front rotors appear to be of greater strength vs the genuine Audi/VW rotor I removed. Bosch Quietcast pads mated with rotor choice—braking is dead quiet to date vs the SM pads that were on the vehicle when I bought it 3.5 years ago. Followed recommended bedding-in procedures after install to ensure proper heating of the pad material and good initial transfer of pad material to rotor. Price at $82/ea was no brainer and is starting to appear as my manufacturer of choice moving forward. Did not go with a Brembo pad because research suggested that quality controls on that side might be a little more lacking combined with the added expense couldnt be justified.

Have typically been a Raybestos guy for my Audi’s but my supplier has said their quality has declined and further research indicates recent sale of Raybestos to another company has resulted in corner cutting regarding manufacturing.

Still very early in the install, but combination appears to have been a good choice at this time.

Rotors, holes, are already cracking. Already at end of life after one year. Seem to not tolerate high heat well. Probably need to replace soon. But not expensive. Functionally very good no complaints. But the holes all already have significant cracking, will need to again replace rotors in next few months.

Your website was wrong with the pads that go into Brembo calipers. I am still waiting on my refund after more than a month. You need to fix your website as the pads shown for my car are actually for a V6. I had to walk to a local parts store to get the pads I needed for my car since it was out of commission (up on jack stands) when I figured out you sent me the wrong pads.
    Please fix your website.
