About the Role
Tire Rack is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Copywriter I to join our Marketing Content Management team. In this role, you'll help shape how customers experience our brand by creating compelling, engaging, and informative content across digital and print platforms.
The ideal candidate is a strong writer with a passion for storytelling, marketing communications, and producing content that informs, engages, and converts. What You'll Do
Content Creation & Copywriting
- Write compelling copy for websites, print materials, product pages, advertising campaigns, and marketing initiatives.
- Develop clear, engaging, and persuasive content that aligns with Tire Rack's brand voice and business objectives.
- Produce high-quality product descriptions and supporting content that enhances the customer experience.
Digital Marketing & SEO
- Create SEO-friendly content optimized for search visibility and customer conversion.
- Apply keyword research and content optimization best practices to improve digital performance.
- Support content marketing initiatives and contribute to social media content development.
Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Partner with designers, marketers, and creative teams to develop integrated campaigns and customer-facing content.
- Collaborate with the UI team to develop and implement copy review and proofing workflows that ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Support content management initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across marketing operations.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Strong editorial, proofreading, and professional writing skills.
- Familiarity with keyword research and SEO copywriting best practices.
- Experience creating content for digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated passion for writing with an impressive portfolio of work.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.

- Standard Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Occasional evenings and weekends may be required based on business needs.
- Local travel is required.

Vacation Days and Holidays
You will accrue PTO on the last day of each month, for a total of sixteen (16) days per calendar year. Additional days are earned after four years of full-time service per the policy outlined in our employee handbook (maximum 26 days).
You will receive one (1) business day of regular pay for each holiday for which the company closes. The company currently closes for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Insurance
You will be eligible for health insurance coverage on the first day following the completion of your first thirty (30) days of full-time employment.
Tire Rack also offers voluntary dental, vision, life and AD&D, and disability benefits, which you will be eligible to participate in after thirty (30) days of full-time employment.
401(k) Plan
You will also be eligible to participate in the company's 401(k) plan upon reaching age 21 and completing 1,000 hours of service within the 12-month time-period following your date of hire. Your entry date will be the first day of the month coinciding with or next following the date you satisfy both the age 21 and the hours-of-service eligibility requirements. The company will contribute $1.00 in your name for each $1.00 that you contribute to the Plan, up to a maximum of 6% of the employee's eligible compensation. The company's contribution fully vests after three years of full-time employment.
