these worked well on my application to my suburban factory running boards. they almost fit the chevy body contour as if they were designed for it. i am 51 years old and am old school when it comes to protecting the sides and paint of my ride from wheel debris . i have never cared for the functionality of todays step tubes and often wondered why the factory has virtually eliminated functioning fender flares, running boards and mud flaps and the like . Anyway these went on easy with a few self tapping screws n took a whole 22minutes to install, including writing this review . i do have one comment to make - I WISH TIRE RACK PUT DIMENSIONS OF THE FLAPS ON THE LISTING- WOULD BE A LOT EASIER TO DECIDE WHICH ONES TO GET . BY THE WAY,I BOUGHT THE CHEAPER ONES BECAUSE I FIGURED THEY WOULD BE ABOUT THE RIGHT SIZE ND THEY WERE . THEY ARE 11.5 INCHES ACROSS THE BOTTOM AND 15 INCHES TALL HAPPY MOTORING!!
To me the mud flaps should be a little more rigid or harder so it wont flop or bend with the wind or water but still pliable enough to contour the wheel well, also they should provide some hardware or screws to install them, I just installed them this week in my 2 vehicles, they do look a little dorky in the rear of my 02 Cavalier (comes with factory mud flaps in front) but I will have to correct that later by lowering and pushing them in a little more, but they look better in my 15 Grand Caravan. Now with the coming spring rains I will see how do they really perform on keeping the vehicles clean.
At first I wasn't sure how pratical these mud flaps would be on My Sentra SR but after having them for 2 weeks, I'm glad I got them. They do the job. Not only do they make my car look sportier but it does protect my paint from debris especially the salt on the roads. We've been having a lot of snow in NJ and these mud flaps protect the paint from salt and other debris from coming up. Very satisfied! Fast shipping
