Everybody in the hot hatch community knows and loves RallyArmor. These are great, long-lasting, withstanding mudflaps, that give you strong style, and do truly hold off the water, dirt, and grime. My GTI is Tornado Red, so I went with the black flaps + red lettering, and they match very suitably. All hardware included fit well and has held on strongly for over two years, and i bought my complete set USED! There is no need to consider. Rally Armor does your mudflaps as well as CoverCraft does sun screening. These are GOOD products, and you can't go wrong. Unless you outright slice or shoot these UR series mudflaps, you cannot damage them with regular driving, even speed bumps.
Besides being a piece of rubber with a logo on it, it came with no hardware but its doing its intended job flawlessly, I did buy a pair of molded mud flaps at my local auto parts and put them in front but I used this ones in the rear of my cars, although looking a little dorky but working fine and that is what I wanted.
Very good quality at 1/8 of an inch thickness. I really like the fact its pliable resembling rubber. I wish it came with hardware;
I used 5 washers on the rear & 3 for the front. Overall they've made my Subie look really clean and would and am going to purchase these again just because i like them so much!
First off, I would like to give a shout out to the customer service. Who (it was a guy and a lady. sorry, I don't know your names) help me get my mud flaps delivered, when the product was back ordered they offered me options on what needed to be done and I was happy with that. They professionally handled my order by leaving me two voice messages and I was able to leave a message back. Thank you guys for making it happen.
So here is the real review and my thoughts about this product..
CAR: 2012 Honda Fit Sport (w/o navigation)
PRO: The rally armor map flaps did a great job on changing the exterior look of my car. It really made my car look like a racing car..something I am proud of. Especially, when dealing with wet surfaces and puddles of water. It protected my car from understeer and having water or mud being slapped on my car.
CON: Tirerack does mention that "tools and drilling" will be needed to mount these mud flaps and they are being serious. It took almost the whole day..for my mechanic and I..to modify, cut, drill and buy the bolts/washers/mounting pieces to make it happen. So..if your planning to buy this for your Honda Fit..I recommend asking your mechanic first..if he wants to do it and what will he need to finish the product on your car?
