This spring kit was installed after the Eibach rear sway bar was installed and I used the firm mounting holes. The rear sway bar really balanced the handling. Installing the spring kit gave me the expected change in body lean when cornering. I was surprised with the lack of brake dive and acceleration squat with these springs. I know this is a Corolla, that said I have autocrossed for years and been to several driving schools. I was looking for better balance and this combination is a HUGE improvement with no down sides. Winter or all season tires the ride quality was not compromised.

Very high quality anti roll bar. Fit was perfect, finish and welds are as good as it gets. I would like to point out that NVH was a high priority for me. The goal was to stiffen the rear suspension with no noise or ride trade off. This rear bar did exactly that. I was very pleased to see that the frame mounts include zerk fittings, and that the bushings have molded paths for grease to flow around the bar. Really slick. Eibach should mention this in the product description. It is worth bragging about.

After much research about modifying stock suspension, many said not to touch the stock set up. It wouldn't make the car handle around a track any faster. Though I don't "track" the car, I like a slightly firmer and less body roll feel. This lightweight (smaller diameter) than some sway bars offered seems to really fit the bill for me. I combined the install with some new Koni"Red" shocks (also from Tire Rack) and I'm very pleased with the results. A small side note , I recently had a Malone stage 2 tune on my TDI as well as a transmission tune and this was an incredible upgrade to driving the car. Highly recommend this. Have fun!
