Gas-a-Just shocks are high pressure gas shock absorbers that are designed to deliver driving control and performance by keeping the tires glued to the road. These high strength, monotube shock absorbers provide extra-rugged durability and fade-free performance. When you want more road control when towing or for higher performance, you want KYB Gas-a-Just shock absorbers. Sometimes specified for use on the rear axle in conjunction with GR-2 strut cartridges or complete struts on the front axle.

    Great value buying these KYB shocks through Tire Rack. I got them to replace my X-Package sport shocks that came with my Lexus IS 250. They wore out and started leaking around 120K miles. I had swapped out the stabilizer bars for F-Sport and the original shocks became way too stiff. The ride of the vehicle in that set up was harsh especially if you're on a long road trip. KYB shocks are also used in Lexus OEM and they aren't as stiff as the sport shocks. The ride became way more comfortable even with the F-Sport stabilizer bars which make the back end feel heavier. The car lost a bit of feel and responsiveness while cornering but I consider it a small trade off for a much more comfortable ride.
