KYB  Truck-Plus Performance Assembly

Covid shipping wait was delayed for over 4 months so I’m still glad I ordered the parts for the truck. The strut mounts were not available anywhere at the time I was looking for them . I was informed by the company that they were in the process of sending them when they were available. All went well and glad to have them on the truck now. Thanks for the help

KYB is a brand with a good reputation that has years of experience making suspension related components so when I saw that they made a strut mount kit I knew I was buying a quality part from a quality manufacturer. I installed the Eibach Pro-Lift suspension kit on my 4Runner, and I didn t want to disassemble the factory components to build the new one. For one thing, the factory components had over 50,000 miles on them, which isn t much, but in Buffalo NY it mas as well be 500,000 miles (pot holes, weather, salt). Additionally, if I ever trade the vehicle in, I wanted to be able to put the factory components back on the truck without having to take it apart again. These strut mounts made the job easy. They already have the lower strut bushing in place, and the kit came with hardware needed to put the top of the strut together. I have put 600 miles on the truck so far with almost half of those being off-road. They don t make a sound, no squeaking etc, and everything went together perfectly. If you are replacing struts, you may as well pick up these mounts and put new components on while you re under there.
