What vehicles can fit 39-inch tires?

Due to their large size and niche off-roading applications, 39-inch tires do not appear as either a standard or OEM fitment option for modern vehicles. As a result, substantial modifications from a lift and leveling kit, as well as specific trimming and body lift tools, are required to accommodate 39-inch tires on your truck, Jeep, or SUV.

With significant bodywork adjustments, 39-inch tires can fit on heavy-duty off-road vehicles like the Toyota Tundra, RAM 3500, Dodge Power Wagon, GMC Hummer EV Pickup or SUV, Ford F-350 Super Duty, Jeep Wrangler or Gladiator, Chevy Silverado, as well as the Nissan Titan or Titan XD.

Do I need a lift kit to fit 39-inch tires?

Most vehicles on the current market are not designed to fit 39-inch tires without substantial modification. To upsize to 39-inch tires, significant suspension, wheel offset, and body trimming changes may be necessary depending on your specific pickup, 4x4 truck, Jeep, or SUV.

Tire Rack carries a wide selection of lift and leveling kits designed to accommodate larger tires while maintaining off-road handling and control on rugged terrain.

One choice is the Eibach Pro-Truck Lift System, which delivers maximum ride height for late model pickup trucks without compromising the integrity of the vehicle's factory suspension components.

Another solution is the KYB JAOS lift kit, which provides extra clearance to accommodate larger tires as well as fine-tuning of the suspension for varying vehicle loads and road conditions.

We also carry Ford Performance, ReadyLIFT, and FOX suspension kits built to help serious enthusiasts tackle extreme trails and terrains with complete confidence.

Can 39-inch or 40-inch tires be mounted on the same wheel?

Yes. Since 39-inch or 40-inch tires describe the tire's outer diameter, both tire sizes could be mounted onto the same wheel.
