The Advantage Control is BFGoodrich's Grand Touring All-Season tire for drivers of coupes, sedans, crossovers and SUVs looking confident control along with a comfortable ride, long tread life and capable all-season traction, even in light snow.
The Advantage Control features an advanced, silica-rich, all-season tread compound molded into a touring-focused, symmetric tread design. The carefully engineered pattern architecture is designed to lower tread noise for a quiet and comfortable ride. A computer-optimized footprint manages contact patch forces, promoting longer and more consistent tread wear. Next Generation g-Wedge Sidewall Stabilizers reinforce the sidewall to retain crisp handling and responsive steering inputs. Wide, circumferential grooves combine with generous lateral notches that feature Aqua-Flume Technology, leveraging a curvilinear groove network to accelerate and disperse water from the contact patch, helping improve hydroplaning resistance and wet weather stability. Active Sipe Technology and full depth tread features are built into the tread blocks for consistent wet and wintry weather performance throughout the tire's life.
The internal construction of the Advantage Control consists of two-ply polyester casing focused on providing durability and comfort. Twin, robust steel belts support the tread package and combine with a single nylon reinforcement for reliability and high-speed capabilities.

...Fantastic wet traction. Never had the feeling of hydroplaning even at 80mph...
Great tires. Used as primarily summer tires as I have a set of blizzaks for the winter. Fantastic wet traction. Never had the feeling of hydroplaning even at 80mph. Holds great grip in highway cornering. Highly recommend!

Good tires when it comes to noise, ride, wet traction, all the usual stuff. My only problem is I've seen my fuel mileage drop 4 MPG after installing these with using the same air pressure as before. Hate to have to consider something else next time but I may have to.

These tire Handel great in the rain and light snow. We had a mild winter but I would feel reasonably comfortable driving in snow if I had to. They are also very quiet on the road.

...We change out tires with snow tires for winter... Spring and summer weather wet and dry tires are great...onto winter and snow, but that can wait!
Tires seem to grip the road very well. We change out tires with snow tires for winter. Went from snows to these replacements this spring. When driving snow tires in warmer weather you can almost feel tires adhere-grip the road way. When we changed over with BF Goodrich tires, felt similar gripping of tires. This is a Good-thing! So far so good! Spring and summer weather wet and dry tires are great...onto winter and snow, but that can wait!

...Observations - dry traction very good...
Installed these on my 3-year old Prius Prime to replace OEM tires that were worn out after 37,000 miles (ugh). Observations - dry traction very good. Definitely make more noise than the previous tires, which I attribute to these ones actually having tread on them. Have not driven yet in the rain. BUT - I immediately noticed a SUBSTANTIAL decrease in mpg. The Prius Prime can go on electric only if you charge it, which I do. Generally on a charge I get 33 miles before the gas engine kicks in, depending on how I drive. With these tires I get only 26-27 mpg, so at least a 20% reduction. I had seen this observed in other reviews. Will it change as the tires wear in and the initial stickiness goes away? Who knows? But you should be aware this may happen.

...These tire seem to be better in everyway compared to the Bridgestones. Better control in the wet and dry with way more steering response too...
I came from some Bridgestone Ecopia 422 plus (oem tires). These tire seem to be better in everyway compared to the Bridgestones. Better control in the wet and dry with way more steering response too. I've driven less than 1000 miles on them but I already know that these tires are 100% better than what I had before. Just waiting for some snow/ice to test out the winter part but so far so good!

...I can take turns without much understeer (Bolts are very nimble, even the EUV) my steering is more responsive and they actually look cool too...
Got these as I was getting a full reimbursement from Michelin (who owns BFGoodrich) as the OEM Michelins kept popping or getting bubbles on minor road imperfections. Before the car would easily spin the tires in the wet but these BFGoodrich tires never broke a sweat in anything except deep snow and ice (it’s an “all-season” so not surprised). There was a slight range hit but as the tires started to wear down it got to as good as the OEM. I can take turns without much understeer (Bolts are very nimble, even the EUV) my steering is much more responsive and they actually look cool too. Tires still look like new, crazy how good these are. I could only imagine how these are on something more sporty!

...Yes, the thread wear is exceptional, they still look pretty new and might last another 80k miles...
Honestly, this tire has been average at best (bought from Costco). I can't figure why so many excellent reviews in here. Yes, the thread wear is exceptional, they still look pretty new and might last another 80k miles, but everything else is not class leading, even though I paid $126 a piece. In dry they are acceptable, in wet they are below average, and in light snow - not reassuring at all. Comfort is ok but they are somewhat noisy. But my biggest regret with these is the fuel economy. I simply lost 10-12% of my regular mpg, from 28-29mpg to 25-26mpg of combined driving. Not cool at all. I came from Bridgestone Turanza Quiettrack, which had horrible thread wear (lasted only 35k miles) but those were so good in all conditions (only average in snow). The way they handled in wet would make even Aquaman proud.

Every time I go to get the car serviced the service guys make a comment on how good the tread looks. I love these tires. I loved them so much that I bought another set of BF Goodrich for my other car which I love even more. I will definitely endorse these tires and the price was reasonable in todays market where any good tire will cost close to $200. Thank you BF Goodrich!
