The ContiProContact is Continental's Grand Touring All-Season tire originally developed for European sport coupes and sedans sold in North America, and is now available for a wide range of imported and domestic cars. The ContiProContact is designed to blend good looks and handling with low noise and a smooth ride while providing all-season versatility and year-round traction, even in light snow.
The ContiProContact features an all-season tread compound molded into a symmetric, notched-rib tread design that provides continuous tread contact with the road to enhance steering response and handling while its wide circumferential grooves promote hydroplaning resistance and wet traction. Continental's PROactive Edge Technology places at least 800 arched edges in each ContiProContact tire's tread design to bring more active edges into the contact patch to promote stormy-weather traction while allowing the pattern elements to transfer smoothly from edge to edge to minimize on-road noise. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped nylon to stabilize the tread area promoting uniformity and high-speed durability.

A couple of years ago, I had a set of KO2s on my Wrangler. By comparison, on my GMC 1500, the KO3s are mildly more refined yet worth the money. These tires provide a noticeably positive difference in handling and much better traction in wet conditions. Road noise isn’t nearly as drastic either. The one complaint I can echo is they are stone magnets - have flares or keep them tucked. Note: I have a 1.5 leveling kit on my Sierra and was able to successfully go with 285/60-20 without any rubbing.

The KO3’s came from the factory on my 2024 Ranger Raptor. I’ve had several sets of KO2’s on multiple Jeep Wranglers over the years so I was excited to see if the KO3’s would be as good. I have not been in mud or rock crawling, but in snow and ice has been great.
I have had many sets of BFG K02 and they tend to have balancing issues. I was concerned these new K03 might, but my first set is great. They ride better than the Michelin tires ltx that were on the Jeep. I have not been in mud or rock crawling, but snow and ice has been great.

My only complaint with these tires is I had a hard time getting them to balance. I got them road force balanced and it helped tremendously. Otherwise these are some of the best A/T tires I've had, they are are extremely tough i drive lots of rough back roads with mud and rock and they do great.
