The g-Force Comp-2 A/S PLUS is BFGoodrich's Ultra High Performance All-Season tire developed for sports car, sporty coupe, performance sedan and modern muscle car driving enthusiasts. Engineered to improve wet handling, wet braking and snow traction over its predecessor, the g-Force Comp-2 A/S PLUS is designed to (A)ccelerate faster, (B)rake shorter and provide more (C)ontrol in all seasons to deliver BFG's ABCs of Ultra High Performance All-Season driving, even in light snow.
Featuring the proven tread pattern of its predecessor, the g-Force Comp-2 A/S PLUS utilizes an updated tread compound designed to increase traction levels in wet and snow, without sacrificing dry traction or treadlife. The tire features squared off shoulders and wraparound tread elements for block rigidity that help inspire confident dry handling. Hydroplaning resistance is aided by an aggressive V-shaped directional pattern, with angled lateral and longitudinal grooves to combine dry, wet and wintertime traction with satisfying longevity.
The g-Force Comp-2 A/S PLUS incorporates BFGoodrich's Performance Racing Core construction. This includes their Equal TEnsion Containment System (ETEC System) of spirally wrapped nylon above twin steel belts, optimizing the tire's contact patch. G-Control Sidewall inserts help blend ride comfort with responsive handling.

...Stability and response is noticeably better on both freeway and back roads, wet/snow traction improvement is night and day...
Finally swapped out OEM potenzas for these and like everyone else, wish I had done it earlier. Stability and response is noticeably better on both freeway and back roads, wet/snow traction improvement is night and day. Ride is slightly firmer in normal/sport damper settings, in comfort setting the ride isn't noticeably different vs oem. Also, Potenzas after 10k miles were much louder than these (again.. not sure why I kept them past 20k), this was my biggest concern given the aggressive tread pattern but has turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Overall I'm very happy I went with the BFGs over the Michelin's and Conti's I was cross shopping.

...Compared to any other tire, they: last longer, handle better (wet and dry), stop quicker and believe it or not, improve the performance of the car...
I have had these tires on everything from my current '17 VW GLI, to my '16 VW GTI and my 2012 Audi S4, and let me tell you, nothing compares. I have tried other brands that are "supposedly" better, but in my opinion (I drive 3 hours a day for work, in all weather conditions) these are the king. Compared to any other tire, they: last longer, handle better (wet and dry), stop quicker and believe it or not, improve the performance of the car. I will always buy these tires!

Most customers report excellent winter traction with snow scores clustered in 9s and 10s, excelling in snowy conditions. Ice traction shows strong 7-8 ratings for typical all-season use, though a few lower scores note reduced grip on sheer ice. Deep snow performance remains consistently confident.

...If i could pick one set of tires to handle 90% of all driving ( rain, dry, snow, race track, etc) this is it... Even allowed my Porsche to go up a steep driveway in 1-2" snow without getting stuck...
This is my 4 or 5th set of these tires( lost track) for all my cars. If i could pick one set of tires to handle 90% of all driving ( rain, dry, snow, race track, etc) this is it. Have pulled over 1.0 G's cornering in wet and 1.3 G's dry on track. Even allowed my Porsche to go up a steep driveway in 1-2" snow without getting stuck. Best part is they are some of the least expensive tires available for performance cars such as Porsches, BMW's and Teslas.

...The steering is excellent. Better than any others I've had on this car: Continental DWS 06+, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3 and 3+, General G-Max AS-05. Better in curves, better straight ahead...
Early review, but I'm impressed!
250 miles on these tires, half curvy country roads, half interstate. The steering is excellent. Better than any others I've had on this car: Continental DWS 06+, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3 and 3+, General G-Max AS-05. Better in curves, better straight ahead. The Goodrich steering is precise, direct, but well damped and stable. Intuitive. I find my eyes and brain looking and thinking farther ahead in curves, which is a good thing, because I know the tires are going to do exactly what I've already thought.
A relative has another 2009 Miata, also with factory suspension package, with Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus tires. I've driven it. Goodrich steering is a lot like the Pirelli, which is high praise. Tire Rack testing says the Pirelli is a bit better in the dry, but the Goodrich is significantly better in the wet, which is why I went with the Goodrich. I have not yet driven the Goodrich in the wet. I don't expect any significant snow in my area.
Ride is comparable to the Continental, better than the Michelin or General. I have not noticed any special noise, but the Miata is a noisy car. (I have the soft top, noisier than the PRHT.)
I will try to update after I have more miles on these tires, including wet miles. So far, these are the best all season tires I've ever owned.

...During dry conditions these are great tires. I'm very confident making quick fast maneuvers in dry conditions...
I love the aggressive look of these tires. Important to note that these tires needed to be road force balanced to eliminate vibrations above 60 mph. The standard balancer will not suffice.
Tires are getting a little noisy as I approach 4/32” treadwear remaining after 31k miles. During dry conditions these are great tires. I’m very confident making quick fast maneuvers in dry conditions. They are average in the rain and downright dangerous in the snow. I expected a bit better performance in light snow conditions.

...Combine that with superb ride comfort and I couldn't be happier...
These bad boys have totally exceeded my expectations. They really allow the AMG to shine and transmit all its ponies to the road. Have not broken them loose yet on a dry surface. No burnt rubber off the line, just total grip. No other tire has delivered that performance, even staggered summer tires. Combine that with superb ride comfort and I couldn't be happier. They've made me fall back in love with my car again. I expect there will be a trade off relative to tread wear, but so what? At this price point anything over 20,000 miles is a bonus.

This is the best low-profile tire for winter and snow that I have ever owned for my 2012 Hyundai Azera. You may trade tire life for it, however, low-profile tires generally don't have a long life unless you're willing to put up with a harder tire and stiffer ride. They have provided excellent control in poor driving conditions.

I have never had a UHP all-season tire with this level of performance in the rain. The grip and resistance to hydroplaning is absolutely ridiculous in the wet... even in a full downpour. I've tried other UHP all-seasons, and prior to this, my go-to was the Continental Conti-Extreme Contact DWS, and though the Contis may be a hair ahead of these in the snow, these BFGs are so far ahead of the Contis in the wet (even though the Contis are not BAD), I will buy these for as long as they're available, ESPECIALLY at the price.

Breaking Down Tire Performance Categories - 2024 Special Test With Winter Update (26:05)
We understand that tire performance categories can be confusing. You want an all-season tire, but there are several all-season categories; how do you know which one is right for you? You want a summer tire, but again, which summer category? In this special demonstration, we took six all-season tires from three all-season categories and three summer tires from two summer categories to lay it out for you. Category-leading tires from the Standard Touring All-Season, Grand Touring All-Season, Ultra High Performance All-Season, Max Performance Summer, and Extreme Performance Summer categories are tested so you can see exactly what each "step up" gets you as a driver and what trade-offs were made along the way.
