The Eagle Sport All-Season is Goodyear's Ultra High Performance All-Season radial developed for the drivers of sports cars, coupes, sedans and performance-oriented light trucks looking to combine sporty handling with all-season traction. Eagle Sport All-Season tires are designed to offer drivers all-season versatility in dry and wet conditions with year-round traction, even in light snow.
The Eagle Sport All-Season features an innovative all-season tread compound molded into a large surface tread contact area asymmetric design to offer consistent performance across a broad range of vehicles. Linked outboard shoulder blocks backed by notched center ribs and connected inboard shoulder blocks enhance steering response, handling and wear. Circumferential grooves help evacuate water to increase traction in wet weather, while full-depth sipes preserve foul-weather traction as the tire wears.
The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped polyamide to combine uniform ride quality with high-speed capability. One of the Eagle Sport All-Season tire line's highlights is its internal construction that features Goodyear's RaceWrap Construction Technology developed for the Eagle Race tires used in NASCAR competition. RaceWrap Construction Technology brings a polyester cord casing ply down the sidewall at a slight angle, wraps around the bead and returns it all the way up the sidewall until it ends under the edge of the steel belts. This slightly angled, two-ply sidewall enhances steering response and handling stability.

...I was expecting worse wet traction and handling on pavement, but so far, they're really pretty good. They're still in the first year, I'd expect the solid tread blocks and lack of siping to impact wet traction more as the rubber ages...
4Runner is modified, lifted, locked, armored. Not trailered, it gets driven on long road trips with lots of off roading mixed in. Off roading is in Colorado mountains, Utah desert, etc, on trails in the Moab 6 - 7 rating range (you need bigger tires to go on harder trails, and more acceptance of body damage).
I was replacing a set of 285/70/16 KO2 tires, and wanted to get a bit more off road oriented. Along with trying out a 'pizza cutter' sizing, narrower, but slightly taller than the KO2's. And so far - the KM3's have been STELLAR off road. Great on wet rocks, modest mud (not into mudding, lol), Utah slick rock. I thought if the narrower KM3's would have issues anywhere, it would be in deep loose sand, but in multiple situations around Moab they did GREAT. Easily matching the 295/75/16 KO2's on my wife's similarly modded 4Runner. Where are the tradeoffs? Not off road. But on road, the tires steer more vaguely, with a soft mushy steering feel. Despite being narrower than the last set of KO2's, they weigh about the same amount. They're definitely noisier. Not terrible, but more noise than the KO2's. I was expecting worse wet traction and handling on pavement, but so far, they're really pretty good. They're still in the first year, I'd expect the solid tread blocks and lack of siping to impact wet traction more as the rubber ages.
So to sum up - where the KO2's are a GREAT balance between on road and off road performance, working well in both situations without being too bad in the other, the KM3's are definitely geared more toward off road use. If that's what you want, they're great. I'm very happy with them, and given the way I use my 4Runner, I'll get KM3's the next time as well.

...I've used them hardcore offroading in soupy mud, deep snow, sand and rocks and they performed great in rain and light snow/ice too. Honestly surprised by how good they are in rain and light snow/ice...
Perfect tire for this vehicle. Any pitfalls of a mud tire are offset by the weight/width (7.5) causing the contact patch to stick very well. I've used them hardcore offroading in soupy mud, deep snow, sand and rocks and they performed great in all. I also regularly use them on the roads with zero complaints. Road noise, I have no idea, rating because it doesn't obviously add to it, but with a TDI Defender there is already a lot going on. Honestly surprised by how good they are in rain and light snow/ice too. A single tire can't do everything. I would definitely buy again but might go up a size to 255/85R16.

You want tires you can be proud of and all your friends are envious of?? THE KM3S ARE IT!!! These tires look nasty and mean. And they deliver. It snowed 18 inches with subzero temperatures with added ice. These tires never even spun or slipped at all. I stayed in 2 wheel drive on purpose, just to see what these tires had to offer. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE TRACTION AND THE TREAD CLEARED ITSELF OF THE DEEP, FROZEN TUNDRA. I WAS/AM BLOWN AWAY BY THE PERFORMANCE OF THE KM3. Yes, they are expensive. But even pulling my 18 ft.,tandem axel toy hauler loaded with my stuff and my 01 Springer softail, they NEVER MISSED A BEAT. No side to side weakness or sway. Due to the fact they are ruggedly built with super thick sidewalls and an indestructible foot print sole. I wasn't so sure how they'd react or last to the heavy weight of my trailer and the Construction environment I work in. Extremely tough, rugged and durable set of tires. I JUST LAID DOWN THE MONEY FOR MY 2ND SET TODAY AT DISCOUNT TIRE AND NEVER EVEN HESITATED. The manager tried to sell me on the KO2 and some kind of NITTO JUNK. I just couldn't settle for 2nd or 3rd best. Not after having experienced THE BEST,THE KM3. I've never seen anyone ever have a set of KM3s on their truck. Although, everyone always commented and complemented me on mine. Some things in life are worth spending your hard earned money on. YES! Again, the KM3 tire isn't cheap. But theres enough CHEAP TIRES OUT THERE. JUST NOT ON MY TRUCK PULLING MY TRAILER AND MY HARLEY BEHIND THEM. I love the security, safety and YES, the attention the KM3 delivers to me mile after mile. BUY CHEAP, YOU GET CHEAP. BUY THE KM3, YOU QUITE SIMPLY BUY, OWN AND RIDE ON THE BEST OF THE BEST, HANDS DOWN. BUY THESE TIRES. YOU'LL NEVER REGRET IT. AND YOU WILL BUY ANOTHER SET. JUST LIKE I DID TODAY. NO OTHER TIRE WILL EVER GO ON MY TRUCK. EVER.

...Dry and wet traction are amazing. I honestly feel like I'm on an all-terrain...
My previous set of KM2's were so great, I naturally went with the KM3 as soon as I finally wore the KM2's out. I know this is a mud-terrain, and most likely not the thing people care about the most, but I can't get over the road manners of this tire. My KM2's were very quiet, and these are even quieter for a mud-terrain tire. Dry and wet traction are amazing. I honestly feel like I'm on an all-terrain.
As with every BFGoodrich off-road tire I've owned, these things are unstoppable off the pavement. Mud traction is superb, and they clean themselves out very quickly with a touch of wheel spin. Rock traction, specifically when engaging the sidewall, is the best I've experienced. The giant sidewall lugs feel very tough and grab onto a rock face like fly paper. I had a set of Goodyear MTR's in the past and these tires are simply in another league in all aspects.
I hope the tread wear is as good as my KM2's were. I ended up removing those because they were aging (8 years) and I couldn't wear out the last remaining bit of tread. Haven't had the KM3's long enough to gauge, but I think they'll be great.

...Dry,rocky,muddy conditions these tires are great!
Tires are pretty quiet. Handle pretty good except in steady to moderate rain. They are notorious for wanting to hydroplane. Dry,rocky, muddy conditions these tires are great!

Most customers rate ride comfort highly with scores 8-10, noting smooth off-road performance. While some report higher noise levels, this is expected for maximum traction tires designed for rugged terrain.

...The ride and comfortability aren't going to be the same as a dedicated street tire which is expected but that was a tradeoff i was willing to accept. They ride and cruise comfortably without a doubt. They definitely have some noise to them but nowhere near what I was expecting compared to previous tires that I have used...
I was skeptical without a doubt, but mostly because I've never went all out on a set of tires like these before, but I couldn't be happier with the results over the past year. I use the truck in the oilfield, and it experiences nearly any terrain you could imagine. From regular dirt to muddy clay, large rocks, swamp like conditions, sand, snow, ice, etc. Up and down hills repeatedly every single day then backroads and highway back to the house. They have yet to leave me needing pulled out of muddy conditions. Now don't get me wrong, they will sling the -------- out of some mud, but haven't gotten stuck. Not only is it my dedicated work truck but also my daily driver. And the truck is loaded down FULL of tools and equipment 100% of the time. Drove the truck halfway across the country multiple times at this point. Hauled my motorcycle trailer to a deck over with medium duty internationals. And they were sturdy as could be.
As for wear and durability they are holding up great. The tread wear is semi-uniform on the front, but I am sure it is due to the lack of attention to the front suspension of the truck. Which is no fault of the tire. I was nearly certain I'd be replacing them by this time this year. But I'm sure i can confidently say i have another good 15-20,000 miles left in them which is mind blowing to me for an offroad tire that I had expected to get 30k miles out of max.
The ride and comfortability aren't going to be the same as a dedicated street tire which is expected but that was a tradeoff i was willing to accept. They ride and cruise comfortably without a doubt. They definitely have some noise to them but nowhere near what I was expecting compared to previous tires that I have used.
At the end of the day, I would absolutely recommend these to someone who has the demand of a solid and reliable tire that is able to put in the work day in and day out. Possibly even someone who is looking for an aesthetically pleasing and stout looking tire.

...They were very quiet and extremely comfortable brand new, now that they are three years old with 70K miles on them, there is come road noise, but nothing I would be upset about!...
I am very impressed. I bought a set of these tires well over three years ago. I drive a fair mix of city, highway and my share of off-road. I bought 37x12.50R17's for reference on a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. They now have well over 70K miles on them, and still average about 6/32nds in tread depth! I chose these because they were the "lightest" 37 inch tire I could buy to keep strain off of my driveline. They have been great. 5 Tire rotations are easy when the total weight of rim and tire is under 90lbs. I would bet that due to lighter tire, they would not work well on a full size truck, but on a Jeep, they are perfect! They were very quiet and extremely comfortable brand new, now that they are three years old with 70K miles on them, there is come road noise, but nothing I would be upset about! They have never punctured, perform great at 8-10psi off road, they run out smooth on the highway, and again, because of being a "lighter" tire, I have had NO major driveline repairs! I am buying another set! If you have a Jeep and want great performance, in addition to super long lasting (I mean lets get our money's worth) then this is 100% the tire for you! I promise!

Great tires! I mostly drive on the road, more of a mall crawler than anything else. Tire wear has been great, and the ride is very comfortable. Will buy again when it’s time.
Most customers rate treadwear highly with 9s and 10s, praising durability in rugged off-road conditions. While some lower scores exist, they often reflect extreme use beyond typical mud-terrain demands.
