Street/Sport Truck Summer tires are for drivers who want to combine aggressive low-profile tires with large rim diameter wheels to enhance their vehicle's appearance. Sometimes used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on 2WD and 4WD pickup, crossover and sport utility vehicles, Street/Sport Truck Summer tires are not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
O.E. Street/Sport Truck Summer light truck tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle's original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires' performance category and specifications.
NOTE: Run-flat tires are only recommended for vehicles that are originally equipped with self-supporting run-flat tires and equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system.

Customer feedback data reveals strong dry traction and confident handling, with many ratings in the 8-10 range, aligning with the tire's summer-focused design. Wet traction receives mostly positive scores (7-8), though some note reduced grip in heavy rain. Ride comfort is generally praised for smoothness, though a few report firmness on rough roads. Treadwear emerges as a key concern, with frequent mentions of rapid wear and disappointing tread life, particularly for drivers expecting longer-lasting performance. Noise levels show mixed results, with some finding it quiet while others note moderate road hum. Overall, the tire excels in dry conditions but struggles with longevity.

...I've driven high speeds in rains and not once did these tires hydroplane. I've stomped the gas pedal at stoplights during the rain and never spun a tire...
These tires came on my new BMW. I'd had Bridgestone tires before but not in an RFT. Was I ever surprised!!! I love these tires. Great high-speed cornering along with great stopping. I've driven high speeds in rains and not once did these tires hydroplane. I've stomped the gas pedal at stoplights during the rain and never spun a tire. Tis a shame that these tires are not offered in all-weather RFT tires with the 168mph rating. I'd buy them. They respond very quickly. Wear on them is great too. I am a stickler for tire pressures. I check my tire pressures several times weekly and if they're not at the factory recommended psi when checked cold, I make adjustments so they are. Due to the weather, I am now being forced to remove these tires and buy another tire that is all-weather instead of high performance summer. I'd gladly buy them again.

...The stability and handling (wet or dry) is some of the best I have encountered to date... The only gripe I have about them is the hydroplaning resistance. Puddles about a half inch deep at 40 to 50 mph will send you all over the place...
Tires came on a 2019 BMW X4 M40i. I must say that I am impressed with the car and tire combination. The stability and handling (wet or dry) is some of the best I have encountered to date. They are a little noisy and stiff but they are 20 inch low profile performance tires so I wouldn't expect anything else. All around a very well balanced tire. The only gripe I have about them is the hydroplaning resistance. Puddles about a half inch deep at 40 to 50 mph will send you all over the place. Overall, I would buy again but living in the PNW where it rains a lot, hydroplane resistance is a top priority for me. I haven't tried them in the snow yet but the recent freezing fog we had, they did well. Being that I have only put 2,000 miles on them I won't expect more than another 10,000 miles. You have to pay to play... Can't have a tired that does everything well and I'd rather replace my tires often knowing that the grip is there, vs having a more comfortable ride.

...Completed a road trip with a torrential thunderstorm for 500 miles and tires were solid, no hydroplaning at all...
I really cannot complain about these tires since we dont have that many options to choose from. These tires have been great but would like to see some michelin tires available at some point. I did put 25k miles on the first set. I had them balanced every 6-7k miles. Now car has 31k miles total, so the new set has 7k miles, they seem to be wearing a bit faster than the first set, however no problems. Completed a road trip with a torrential thunderstorm for 500 miles and tires were solid, no hydroplaning at all. Will keep you posted as they eat the miles.

...My tires have been pretty sticky in dry and don't cause me concern in rain/wet. I haven't gotten the tires to squeal, so that's probably why they don't seem to be wearing yet...
I live in the Pacific Northwest (WA state) and haven't noticed any issue with hydroplaning, including heavy rain at a "spirited" rate of speed. I'm always shocked when I think it's imminent but nothing goes wrong. My tires have been pretty sticky in dry and don't cause me concern in rain/wet. I haven't gotten the tires to squeal, so that's probably why they don't seem to be wearing yet. Love the tires and the car!

...They are quiet, smooth and more directionally stable than the OEM all season...
Replaced OEM Alenza AS RFT which wore to 4 /32 after 35,000 miles which I was impressed with. I purchased these based on Tire Rack’s recommendation based on my driving style and geographic location despite the negative reviews. Very satisfied after limited experience with these tires. They are quiet, smooth and more directionally stable than the OEM all season. Special pricing cinched my decision. I plan on trading my car within 15,000 miles and hope with proper rotation (5 to 6,000 miles) I will not need to replace these tires. Time will tell though.

These Bridgestones were installed at the factory for my X3 M40i. I had little confidence at first, but as miles accumulated these tires proved to be highly satisfactory. Projecting in the future I predict the treads will be down to the markers at about 40k Km or 24 K miles. In addition they are priced right or lower than the competition. (Pirelli) But the ride is a little hard. No problems so far.

Although these tires provide a decent ride and are fairly responsive, they are just too expensive to only get less than 16,000 miles wear. if you don't care to spend the money and keep replacing, the traction and responsiveness on the BMW X3 won't dissapoint.
