The ADVAN Neova AD07 is the Extreme Performance Summer tire member of Yokohama's global family of ADVAN performance tires developed for sports car, sports coupe and performance sedan enthusiasts who love sport driving. Used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on the Lotus Elise, the ADVAN Neova AD07 is designed to provide high levels of traction, responsive handling and driving control in dry and wet road conditions. However, like all Extreme Performance Summer tires, these tires are not intended to be serviced, stored nor driven in near- and below-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
The ADVAN Neova AD07 molds a "fine particle" Micro Silica (MS) tread compound (to provide greater road surface adhesion) into a directional tread pattern that features massive tread blocks with rounded edges to increase cornering stability and steering response while promoting more even wear. Five large circumferential and multiple directionally aligned lateral grooves resist hydroplaning and enhance wet traction. The tire's structure includes two wide steel belts reinforced by spirally wound nylon to provide strength and uniform ride quality and high-speed capability while the sidewalls are tuned to resist lateral deflection providing handling control and cornering stability.
Like the motorsports tires this Extreme Performance street tire has evolved from, the ADVAN Neova AD07 radial's construction and compounds have been tuned to maximize the tire's traction and performance within a specific range of ambient temperatures. Therefore, unlike less highly-tuned tires, Yokohama's care instructions specify that due to its compound characteristics, ADVAN Neova tires must be used and stored at temperatures above -10 degrees Celsius (14 degrees Fahrenheit) to maintain its performance and avoid tire damage.

Customers Say
Consumer feedback shows the Bridgestone Alenza A/S 02 excels in comfort, with smooth ride quality and low noise levels earning consistent 7-10 scores. Treadwear receives mixed reactions, with some noting rapid wear despite higher-mileage claims. Winter traction struggles in snow and ice, with scores often below 5, raising concerns for all-season versatility. Wet traction splits opinions-some praise hydroplaning resistance (8-9 scores), while others report reduced grip in heavy rain. Dry traction stands out as a strength, with 9-10 ratings for confident handling and stability. Ideal for drivers prioritizing comfort and dry performance, but less suited for harsh winter conditions.

...Great in dry! Quiet, good handling, good traction...
Tires as OE supplied on new 2019 GMC Sierra Denali. Great in dry! Quiet, good handling, good traction. Was able to test in 4-5" heavy slushy snow this morning unfortunately, they will get you through with puckered sphincter in a pinch but I would SO much prefer to have had dedicated snowflake-emblem wearing snow tires on the truck instead. Problem is, in OE 22" (!) sizing such a tire does not currently exist. For the first time ever I am now considering a dedicated snow tire/wheel set...ugh!

...Poor dry pavement traction, improves slightly as tires warm. Unstable in aggressive maneuvers, several issues I thought were the truck disappeared with a different tire.
Factory Tire on 21 Silverado 1500 with Max Tow. Tires on work vehicle which see long stretches of highway miles mixed with off road conditions on job sites
Pros: Tread life, 6/32 @55k Miles with rotation at every oil change Surprisingly good traction in full dry sand, wet sand, and various off road conditions Good traction in light to heavy snow conditions but not as good as other M+S tires I have owned
Cons: Loud to very loud, enough that passengers comment on it Terrible wet traction, they don't even like dark clouds Poor dry pavement traction, improves slightly as tires warm Unstable in aggressive maneuvers, several issues I thought were the truck disappeared with a different tire
The extended tread life comes at a cost of lower performance in almost every other category. Bridgestone makes some phenomenal tires, this is not one of them. I never really trusted my truck with these tires mounted.

Dry traction with the Bridgestone Alenzas is adequate. No real complaints over the life of the tire...
Dry traction with the Bridgestone Alenzas is adequate. No real complaints over the life of the tire. As expected, snow traction is limited but it'll get the job done. Anything other than light snow and you'll want a dedicated snow tire; even with 4WD. Tire wear is excellent driving mostly highway and getting nearly 80,000mi of life out of them. I'm looking at other tires on the light duty truck market, but this is definitely a contender.

Most customers give high marks (7-10) for comfort, with many 9s/10s highlighting smooth ride and quiet performance. While some scores (3-6) note occasional harshness, the Alenza A/S 02 excels in all-season crossover/SUV touring.

These are quiet and comfortable. I can't comment on wet performance or wear, but I love the way they feel...
These tires came with my new Escalade as OEM, and after 500 miles on them, and after trying the new Pirellis, I must say, these are quiet and comfortable. I can't comment on wet performance or wear, but I love the way they feel. Will probably buy again.

...They have a very smooth ride with no issues so far...
These tires came on my 2021 Tahoe Premier. They have a very smooth ride with no issues so far. Tire wear is uniform and predictable. After having many SUVs over the years with the Michelin LTX these tires are certainly as good. I would definitely recommend these tires.

Despite some 8-10 ratings, many customers score wet traction between 0-5, reporting slippery handling, floating on wet roads, and hydroplaning tendencies. Mediocre wet performance leaves drivers dissatisfied, with frequent mentions of unsafe slide-around behavior in rainy conditions.

...Almost immediately, I started to look for a replacement because of very poor wet traction...
This was the OEM tire. Almost immediately, I started to look for a replacement because of very poor wet traction. COVID hit and I wasn't driving much so I never pulled the trigger. We had a light snow (~2-4" and powdery) two weeks ago and these tires were a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. Braking and cornering were treacherously bad. Traction was horrible. I had to shift to 2Low to get up a hill my Lexus sedan and Acura SUV took with no difficulty. Immediately ordered replacements.
I would NEVER recommend this tire.

...They perform badly on wet pavement and slick roads. Hydroplaning is a real problem during a normal rain fall. I won't drive my truck if there is a remote chance of sleet or freezing rain because of the poor traction, stopping ability and handling of these tires...
These tires are quiet and have a soft ride like my previous Denali pickup which had Michelin Defenders. These tires came on my Sierra Denali 1500 when I bought it new last year. They perform badly wet pavement and slick roads. Hydroplaning is a real problem during a normal rain fall. I won’t drive my truck if there is a remote chance of sleet or freezing rain because of the poor traction, stopping ability and handling of these tires. Sadly, I will be taking these off and going back to the same Michelin tires I had on my previous Denali pickup.

Winter traction disappoints with many scores between 0-5. Customers report slippery conditions in snow/ice, unstable handling, and lack of winter grip. While some rate 8-10, the Alenza A/S 02's inconsistent performance in its intended all-season category leaves drivers dissatisfied with winter safety.

In all the trucks I have owned in my life, I have never had a tire that made me uncomfortable going into a turn or highway exit like this one. It there is a hint of rain they lose traction. They are the absolute worst tire I have ever experiences in the snow. Tread wear is good, but with winter coming I can't wait to get these off my truck. They are quiet and comfortable, but these tires are only for dry weather on the highway.

...In anything other than absolute bare dry pavement, they will risk your life... Snow? Don't even think about it...
These came on High County MY19 Silverado. What a waste of rubber. In anything other than absolute bare dry pavement, they will risk your life. Accelerating less than half throttle in the rain around 3mph caused them to slip loose. Snow? Don't even think about it. That a tire company can release such a tire and think they are keeping pace with the vehicle its going with is absurd. Also, what a disappointment for a near $70k truck to come with this tire. The second disappointment is that in this size (275/50r22), near nothing else is available. I went -4 and replaced wheels and tires. The only use this tire will have is satisfying tread depth at lease turn in. Good riddance. Shame on you, Bridgestone. From DMV2 to this... same company? What a brand cheapening model these are. Ugh.

Treadwear ratings reveal significant dissatisfaction, with many scoring 0-5 citing rapid wear, premature replacement, and disappointing tread life. While some rate 7-10, excessive wear concerns dominate feedback.

Replaced OEM tires with these (same as what came on it) after a sidewall slice on the orig tires. I’ve been disappointed with the tread wear of these tires- lucky if we get 20k out of them. Disappointing for the nearly 1600 dollar per set price tag- and on a small SUV. Trouble is there are limited run flat options for the 235/50-20 size- but was hoping that at least I would get the mileage commensurate with the Expected tread wear rating. I will definitely look for an alternative when these are spent- which is probably in 5k miles or less. Sigh.

Orignal equipment on truck. Nothing good to say about this tire. 23000 miles and dealer suggests replacement due to unsafe tread wear . Chevrolet should be embarrassed for putting this on a $65000 truck.

The specs say the original tread depth is 10/32", but that is incorrect. It's only 9/32", and after 15,000 easy miles, my tread depth is 7/32"... I doubt that I will get much more than 30,000 miles out of these very expensive tires.
The specs say the original tread depth is 10/32", but that is incorrect. It's only 9/32", and after 15,000 easy miles, my tread depth is 7/32". When I replace these tires, I certainly won't buy the same ones. I doubt that I will get much more than 30,000 miles out of these very expensive tires.
