The Dueler A/T Ascent is Bridgestone's On-Road All-Terrain tire developed for the drivers of pickup trucks, Jeeps, crossovers and SUVs looking for enhanced off-road traction when they need it without sacrificing on-road comfort when they don't. The Dueler A/T Ascent is designed to drive comfortably on the highway, provide sure-footed grip when the road ends and deliver confident performance in dry, wet and wintry conditions, including light snow capability that meets the tire industry's severe snow service rating requirements and is sufficient to earn the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.
The resilient all-season, all-terrain compound of the Dueler A/T Ascent is molded into a balanced, symmetric pattern. Featuring Bridgestone's ENLITEN technology, it has been designed from the onset to create a longer lasting tire that resists irregular wear. Broad shoulders and an optimized tread block arrangement deliver confident highway tracking. Alternating scalloped shoulders provide an aggressive look and offer strong functional traction when driving on gravel, dirt, and other loose surfaces. Wide circumferential grooves and open shoulder slots help channel water away from the contact patch to resist hydroplaning. Full-Depth 3D Sipes create the biting edges needed for grip on packed snow or other low-friction surfaces.
The robust construction of the Dueler A/T Ascent includes a two-ply, polyester casing beneath two wide, high-strength steel belts that support and stabilize the tread. A nylon reinforcement ply aids handling response while also increasing durability and providing high-speed capability.
Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

...The traction on on both wet and dry roads is exceptional...
I researched this tire for a few months. Pulled the trigger while they were on sale. My initial thoughts are they ride amazing. Very comfortable. Cincy has a lot of potholes and I miss as many as I can but when I don’t these absorb a lot of the impact. The traction on both wet and dry roads is exceptional. This was my number one concern with a truck. Tire looks amazing as well. I put the owl out. Just enough to look very sporty. Love these tires so far.

These are incredible tires, totally bridge the gap from needing snow tires in winter these tires are like snow tires in the snow...
These are incredible tires, totally bridge the gap from needing snow tires in winter these tires are like snow tires in the snow. Great comfort quiet for the aggressiveness of the tire. Now if you put these on an EV like a Rivian they absolutely destroy the range, and I’m not talking like 10% loss from factory tires, more like you are losing probably 30-40% of your range. I purchased these knowing I was losing range but didn’t expect it to be that much. So if you are taking long trips while these tires are probably the best on the market, I would advise they are not ideal for that situation. In regard to gas pickup trucks, yeah don’t look any further these tires are great. Definitely more stops for gas but it’s worth the increase in confidence and safety. Since I take turns driving pickups these really work for me, I get beat up on range but just plug in when I get home. Anyone buying these tires, you will be happy if your top priority is not efficiency outside of that these are the best tires I’ve ever had and that comes from 30 years driving experience with over 30 vehicles in that time frame.

This is the best AT tire I have ever purchased. One step below a dedicated snow/ice. Super quiet, crazy good snow traction, handles good for an open tread block design and great wet/raining conditions. We just had a 4 day trip loaded with 4 people, luggage, full ski racks and towing 4 place snowmobile trailer (XL rated @ 50psi) in a snowstorm for 350 miles was drama free. I can’t say enough about the Dueler Ascent. My summer wheel/tire set are Goodyear Eagle Sport 285/45R22. The Ascent is better in the rain, almost as quiet and rides just as smooth. Great tire.

...Very noticeable improvement in comfort, wet and dry traction in highway/city driving- have not had them off road or in snow/ice yet...
Bought these tires in size 275/50-20 to replace 1/2 worn OE Bridgestone Ecopias. Very noticeable improvement in comfort, wet and dry traction in highway/city driving- have not had them off road or in snow/ice yet. Only very minimal increase in noise but it's almost a more pleasing sound than the prior tires. And these Bridgestone Dueler AT Ascents look amazing on the Jeep- just what I was hoping for!

...Immediately noticed the improvement over my Highway All Seasons they replaced in terms of comfort. These tires soak up the bumps beautifully. They are very quiet with just a hint of white noise in the background if all else is quiet in the vehicle...
Early review of these tires as I've only had them on for 3 weeks and about 1000 Miles. Immediately noticed the improvement over my Highway All Seasons they replaced in terms of comfort. These tires soak up the bumps beautifully. They are very quiet with just a hint of white noise in the background if all else is quiet in the vehicle. Cornering has been great with just a tad more input required versus my previous Highway All Seasons. Rolling resistance is also more than my previous Highway All Seasons but that is expected as my previous tires where much harder. I've drove them in freezing temps with snow dustings while towing a trailer and so far I'm loving these tires and expect them to handle the snow and rain with no sweat.

Throughout the years, driving my Ram truck, I have tried several different tire manufacturers... in search of a truck tire that provides a quite and smooth ride. 'Look no more'...these Bridgestone Dueler Ascent Tires are incredibly quite on the highway (cement or pavement). The only highway noise that I hear, is wind noise...as the 'boxy' cab attempts to be as 'aerodynamic' as possible, traveling down the road at 70 mph...

"Look no more".....these Bridgestone Dueler Ascent Tires are incredibly quite on the highway (cement or pavement). The only highway noise that I hear, is wind noise....as the "boxy" cab attempts to be as "aerodynamic" as possible, traveling down the road at 70 mph. The "ride" is also "noteworthy" smooth!! Not the best.....but "noteworthy" smooth for a one ton truck. I'm happy to report that....the tires seem to to absorb most of the imperfections of the roads, here in So Cal, without impacting the ride quality. I have yet to test wet traction, snow traction, sand traction and pulling my 5th wheel RV......but will do so, as I encounter each of these. Currently, I have about 1k miles on these tires....and in my opinion, these tires are, without a doubt, "best in class", exceeding my expectations for a "quality ride". Thank you for reading!

...My average efficiency before these tires was 1.9kwh and my average efficiency since putting on these tires is 1.9kwh...
I wanted a good set of tires that were more capable in the winter than the stock Bridgestone Alenza's that came with the Silverado EV, and these have met my expectations, with an additional upside of barely affecting EV range and efficiency. My average efficiency before these tires was 1.9kwh and my average efficiency since putting on these tires is 1.9kwh. Seems hard to believe, I know, and maybe my driving habits changed or there is another variable in play, but if you are driving a Rivian R1T, Ford Lightning, or Silverado EV, these seem to be a great all-terrain choice that won't affect range much at all.
I'm puzzled by the reviews that mention poor snow performance. My son is on a ski team so I drive 170 miles each direction every weekend from December to April. I have driven the Silverado EV up and down mountain summits in the Sierra's in conditions ranging from pouring rain, packed snow, deep slush, and ice, and I have barely had a single slip. In fact I have never noticed traction control coming on. As long as I drive like a sane person, these tires do everything I want them to do in the snow. Highly recommend.

...I can't speak to the tread life/wear because they are so new. I cross rotate my tires every 4000 miles, which got me 80k out of the Alenzas, so I'm curious to see how these will stack up...
Bridgestone redesigned the tires I previously had (2 sets of Alenza), which were great tires. When I was looking for another set, I saw these A/T Ascent tires. I thought they may be a bit aggressive for a Highlander...I was wrong. They look great and actually drive a little smoother than the Alenza tires that I had twice before. I can't speak to the tread life/wear because they are so new. I cross rotate my tires every 4000 miles, which got me 80k out of the Alenzas, so I'm curious to see how these will stack up. I'm a master mechanic and in my opinion, you can't go wrong with Bridgestone's high end tires.

...Can't wait to see what kind of mileage I get out of them.
Just getting into these tires but with the recent snow storms we received in Michigan already this year I can say these are by far the best set of A/T tires I have owned. They are extremely quiet. Steering is very responsive. Can’t wait to see what kind of mileage I get out of them.
