The Terra Grappler G2 is Nitto's On-Road All-Terrain tire developed for drivers of pickup trucks, Jeeps, crossovers, and SUVs who are looking for a competent blend of off-road capabilities with on-road performance and comfort. Built for every adventure, the Terra Grappler G2 is designed to provide traction in light off-road terrain, dry and wet roads, as well as light snow conditions sufficient to earn the tire industry's severe snow service certification and three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

The bold, symmetric tread pattern is molded from the latest generation all-season compound utilized in the Grappler family of products designed to provide capable grip with enhanced durability and tread life. Variably-pitched blocks interact with the road surface at carefully timed intervals to help mitigate airborne noise for a quieter ride, while aggressive shoulder lugs provide grip in loose surfaces and protect the sidewall from abrasion. Coupling joints are molded into the outermost tread elements to help improve block rigidity for greater off-road grip, as well as on-road stability when cornering or under heavy loads. Generous lateral grooves provide ample water channeling for hydroplaning resistance, while full depth sipes help maintain slippery condition traction throughout the tire's life. Wide, zig-zag circumferential grooves further enhance water evacuation and generate the snow-to-snow grip that helps produce light snow traction worthy of the 3PMSF symbol.

Internal construction of the Terra Grappler G2 features a two-ply polyester casing for durability and ride comfort, with twin, high-strength steel belts offering a robust foundation. A single, nylon reinforcement ply is added to help maintain footprint composure and high-speed stability.

As with all Grappler tires, each Terra Grappler G2 tire features two unique sidewall designs. One side is a raised thunderbolt while the other features a blade design.

Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

...They handle excellent in wet/dry conditions, and in light to moderate snow as well...

Was looking for a factory-style raised white letter replacement tire, but the exact ones are no longer made. These came up in my research, and seemed like a good deal for the price and based on other people's Ratings, as well as the fact Bridgestone tires are a well known brand. I Have had them for 3 years now, and they are EXCELLENT for the purchase price. They handle excellent in wet/dry conditions, and in light to moderate snow as well. They are very smooth and quiet riding too. Would definitely recommend them , especially if you don't want to spring for a much more expensive set of tires, (like Michelins for example, Which of course are among the best). Only thing for me is they are BLACKWALL tires, but they still look OK on my truck. I'm actually buying two more now to replace the front ones, only due to a recent suspension/alignment issue which caused some uneven wear, but the tires otherwise still looked and still ride like NEW after 20K miles with lots of tread left. Got lucky, as these are now on CLOSEOUT special, like 50% off. They still have like only 10 left now as of this writing, so if you need a set CHEAP now's the time to buy them!! Definitely recommended!!!

...In the rain, they have no problem with grip even at 4/32. I was driving through a storm one morning and the truck felt planted and controlled while going down the highway...

These were the Ford OEM tires when I purchased the Ranger. No complaints about the tire other than the fast treadwear. The tires have just under 26k miles on them with 4/32" tread left. More than likely they will need to be replaced at the 30k mile mark. The truck has always been serviced by Ford so the tires were rotated on schedule and always kept at the correct pressure. I have done no towing, little hauling and the occasional trips to the jobsite on these tires. Other than that, it is mainly city or highway driving. I will say the tires are quiet, handle and respond well and track great down the highway (grooved pavement too). In the rain, they have no problem with grip even at 4/32". I was driving through a storm one morning and the truck felt planted and controlled while going down the highway. I have not tried these in the snow and I doubt I will as the tread depth is getting low.

Overall, I like the tire I just wish they didn't wear out so fast.

This tire is exceptional for trucks in the 3/4 ton and 1 ton size. I drive in some of the most extreme conditions and haul a 2 ton backhoe. This tire is exceptional in the snow or heat. I am so impressed by the performance of this tire that when they hit 100K I will put this same tire right back on it. Want a 100K tire, then this is the one.

...Low noise and a very comfortable ride.

I opted for this tire size because of cost. The 70 series side wall has a little more body roll and the steering is not as responsive as the 65 series side wall original equipment tire.
This was to be expected. overall very happy with this tire. Low noise and a very comfortable ride.

I bought the same tires 5 years ago. And tread still in great shape. Because the passenger side tire blow out from metal in the road. I'm replacing both front tires and using the one good one as the spare. Staying with what I trust.
