Highway All-Season tires are for drivers who want a combination of pleasant on-road characteristics, long wear and all-season versatility, including traction in light snow. Highway All-Season tires branded with the M+S symbol are often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on 2WD and 4WD, light- and medium-duty vans, trucks and pickups, as well as crossover and sport utility vehicles.
O.E. Highway All-Season tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle's original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires' performance category and specifications.

User feedback reveals the Bridgestone Dueler H/T D687 delivers strong dry traction (scores 8-10) with responsive handling, paired with a smooth and quiet ride that earns consistent praise. However, treadwear ratings show significant inconsistency, with many reports of premature wear despite some high-scoring outliers. Winter traction underperforms for an all-season tire, with frequent low scores (0-6) in snow and ice conditions. Wet traction raises concerns, including hydroplaning risks and reduced grip in heavy rain. While comfortable for highway use, its mixed performance in critical all-season categories may limit appeal for drivers prioritizing year-round capability.

56,000 miles: These tires were original equipment on my 2006 Toyota RAV4 Sport and currently have 1/8th inch tread depth remaining. The Duelers have provided good dry traction (the RAV4 is NOT a sporty car, but for an SUV it is fun to drive). I have had no problems with traction, cornering or stopping under normal driving conditions in rain or snow. I have towed trailers on interstate highways and mountain roads with no problems. This combination of tire and suspension is stiff over sharp bumps and pavement cracks. Road noise is what I consider normal. Overall, I have no complaints. These tires have served well enough in a very wide range of tasks.

...Overall I like the dry traction and handling but I will not buy another set due to cost per tire...
These were the stock tires for the 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara. I like the overall look of the tire however they dont perform as good as they look. When new they perform admirably on highway and light off road in moderate conditions. They must be rotated religiously or they wear out (particularly the rear set on rear wheel drive or the front set on front wheel drive vehicles) very fast. These tires tend to have poor hydroplaning characteristics and easily ride up on top of surface water during a heavy rain. Overall I like the dry traction and handling but I will not buy another set due to cost per tire. I have never had a flat and they do tend to hold their seal. Good OEM tire.

...If you are looking for a nice ride, I cant say more about these tires. Ride is my top priority, performance is secondary...
This is my third set of Dueler 687s. I am an average driver and use them mostly on road. If you are looking for a nice ride, I cant say more about these tires. Ride is my top priority, performance is secondary. There are lots of complaints about the length of service out there but hey, you are buying a tire with a 300 tread wear rating. This tire is not designed to last, it performs well in all other areas in my opinion and I buy them for the ride. If you want a high mileage tire dont by these. But remember that I high mileage tire has much harder rubber and therefore wont ride as nicely. So, those of you who complain about the tread wear have no one to blame except yourselfs. (if you are buying replacements) Before you buy, check the stats!

...Nice compromise between ride comfort and performance. Driving the HL with these tires feels more like driving a car than an SUV...
OE equipment on our Highlander. Decent tire handles nice on dry pavement. Nice compromise between ride comfort and performance. Driving the HL with these tires feels more like driving a car than an SUV. If the tread wear was longer, I would probably buy again. I found out this winter that I should have replaced these about 10K miles ago (they have 42K now). Rotated every 7500 miles and vehicle is in good alignment.

...My feelings about these tires is while I felt they rode comfortably and were quiet, the handling left a lot to be desired...
These tires were mistakenly installed on my Highlander. I drove on them for 6000 miles while the dealer located the correct wheels and tires for my car. My feelings about these tires is while I felt they rode comfortably and were quiet, the handling left a lot to be desired. Dealer found my correct wheels and they were Michelin LX4 and much more sure-footed and responsive while slightly noisier.
These may be an adequate OEM tire but there are better Bridgestones available for this vehicle

Mixed ratings with many scores between 0-6 for wet traction. Customers report sliding and hydroplaning concerns, indicating mediocre wet performance for this all-season highway tire.

...They hydroplane really easily and the wet traction leaves something to be desired...
These tires came stock on my Suzuki, and they are just plain bad. They have worn down to the bottom of the big sipes in the tread in about 23000 miles, and are starting to show cracking and road noise. Before now, they have been excellent in dry weather and have handled well. They hydroplane really easily and the wet traction leaves something to be desired. These tires have also worn a bit uneven over their time too. Its really too bad that this size tire isnt made in any other truck tire that can do off road, as I have a 4wd; its mostly because a 16" wheel is stock on the Grand Vitara. So, with my choices limited, Im going to try a new Michelin Hydroedge and see how that works. I love how the dueler h/ts are stiff, but I need something that can handle water. I would overall say dump these tires before you get them, because they handle no weather except dry... but if thats all you do then have at them. (I wanted to give something back to all of you that helped me decide on my new tires, so here is my review to add to the list. Thanks)

These tire are brand new. When driving on wet roads at highway speeds it feels like one is driving on ice. IMHO these tires are terrible. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone for anything. Caveat Emptor.

Winter traction receives concerning scores between 0-5, with many customers reporting slippery conditions, loss of traction, and getting stuck. Unacceptable performance for an all-season tire in intended winter use.

...Terrible in snow even when new. With AWD there's no problem with getting stuck but braking and cornering in even small amounts of snow is really scary...
Came as OEM on our 2010 Forester. Average for every day driving. Terrible in snow even when new. With AWD there's no problem with getting stuck but braking and cornering in even small amounts of snow is really scary. Our Corolla with Goodyears can drive circles around it. I can't believe Subaru still puts these on their vehicles.

Came with the new car. The tread looked good, but that was the end of the tires appeal. For me they were quite. Noise was not a problem. Snowy conditions prompted me to buy Blizzaks as these were not up to the task . I was glad they wore out early @ 22K in one respect so I could buy a better tire. Don't bother with these.

Treadwear receives mixed scores with many 0-5 ratings alongside 9-10s. Frequent complaints of premature wear, excessive wear, and needing replacement early. Disappointed in tread life for a highway all-season tire.

These Bridgestone's do not have any tread warranty and only have 2/32 of an inch left of tread, which is the minimum allowed to pass inspection in Utah. I find this hard to believe since I have only driven 21K miles on these tires...
These tires are OEM on my Toyota Highlander. As others I am disappointed that Toyota would sell a car with these tires on them. Especially without any kind of tread warranty on them. Since I am in Utah and it does snow here I have thought about getting some snow tires, but have asked around and have been told as long as I find a better traction tire I would not need to do this. So, before this winter I will be replacing these Bridgestone tires. Probably with the Michelin Cross Terrains. These Bridgestone's do not have any tread warranty and only have 2/32 of an inch left of tread, which is the minimum allowed to pass inspection in Utah. I find this hard to believe since I have only driven 21K miles on these tires. I will write my review on the Michelin Cross Terrains after I have them a while and let you know what I think. I would only recommend these tires if you are in a dry climate and are willing to replace them about every 20K-30K miles. It seems to be the same old story... you get what you pay for and since Toyota went cheap on OEM tires these do not last. I have even heard that the Bridgeston A/T will be a great improvement over these. I have also noticed the 2004 Highlander comes with Michelin OEM. Guess I shouldve waited a couple of more years.
