The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped polyamide to combine uniform ride quality with high-speed capability. One of the Eagle Sport All-Season tire line's highlights is its internal construction that features Goodyear's RaceWrap Construction Technology developed for the Eagle Race tires used in NASCAR competition. RaceWrap Construction Technology brings a polyester cord casing ply down the sidewall at a slight angle, wraps around the bead and returns it all the way up the sidewall until it ends under the edge of the steel belts. This slightly angled, two-ply sidewall enhances steering response and handling stability.

Michelin PS4S can’t touch them in this category—Potenzas are at least a full rating class above in wet grip. The soaking wet reality, lb for lb— Potenzas > all Summer performance tires for wet conditions.

They bite so aggressively that you can feel the rubber burning at 50°C track temps, and they hold their composure longer than most. I wanted to try something different besides Michelin Sport series tires for my M3. Compared to the previously installed Michelin Sport 4S tires…The steering response is superior. When I turn the wheel it feels heavier and stays in the direction of steering until I change the input which few tires can match. The ride quality though is not at the same level as I feel a bit more body roll but not a big deal. If I had to buy again I probably would do it again. But the grip and steering are so good that it would be hard to change .
