Continental  CrossContact LX Sport

Don't know what everyone is complaining about. I have met numerous Santa Fe owners ('13>'15) who all praise the car and these optional tires on the AWD Sport Turbo. Driven in some horrible snow storms, some with blizzard conditions and never had any problems. Ice? Scarey no matter what you drive with whatever tire. These held their own. Wet Traction has been great in some heavy rain storms here in the Northeast. Hydroplaning Resistance? No Such thing as a great tire when doing this. Cornering Stability? Hey, it's a Crossover not a sports car, but it does handle pretty good. Give credit to Hyundai for a great suspension too. Dry Traction is everything you could want. The Santa Fe has 3 different steering settings and these tires respond well to them all.

Highly recommend rotating them every 5>6,000 miles with your Oil Change. At 27,000 miles, Tire Dealer says they are good for another 25,000 miles. Going to have an All-Wheel alignment and All wheels balanced to make sure. Getting noisier as they wear, but that's typical of any tire. Tire Pressure makes a big difference in Ride comfrort. Will replace them with the same tire.

The tires were a replacement for the OE tires (same). Old tire mileage was 18000 miles. Tires are overall satisfactory. Did not experience any snow driving. Wet diving was very good, noise was ok, but not the best.

These were OEM on our MDX. They are quiet, good handling, decent riding tires. Wet traction is good and is tested often here in Florida.

These have been rotated at every oil change (about every 5500 miles as directed by the car's "maintenance minder"). The tread ware is disappointing. At 27k one tire is at 4/32" and the rest are just below 5/32". They'll need replacing by 30k. Pretty sad on a family truckster that is never driven hard. This may just be an issue with low profile tires as poor treadware seems to be a common complaint with all of the tires that fit the MDX.

Ford chose to make these the OEM all season tire for the Edge ST's 21" wheels, and it was a good choice on their part. These tires have no issues gripping on ice or snow, and they give almost the steering feedback and predictability when on the edge of grip as the other OEM option, the summer-only PZERO. That being said, tread life was pretty poor, I'm scheduling replacement at 30,000 miles. Despite the poor treadlife, I'll almost certainly be re-purchasing these as the all season performance is good enough to make up for the short life.

These were OEM on my Jaguar F-Pace. In dry conditions they handled well. The vehicle cornering is good but not the stiffest sidewall out there. In wet conditions I had no issues with grip on takeoff but the AWD may have something to do with that. The winter weather conditions posed more issues for this tire. Ice traction was bad rates about 3. Light snow 6 and deep snow 4.5-5. Treadwear was horrific. 28k miles and they are in poor condition. All 4 tires are worn down and need replacement. Couldn't even get two winters out of this tire but just as well as they aren't the best cold weather all season out there. For the money Michelin LTX and Bridgestone Dueler's are a much better choice. Since I'm biased to Michelin the LTX will most likely be my next tire.

3 years and close to 27k miles on these tires and it has 40% tread remaining which will probably get to 45-50K before replacement. Tires were rotated every 8k miles so wear is fairly even and wear pattern is good. Noise level and ride comfort when new was outstanding but started to get bit more nosier after hitting 50% tread wear and also bit more vibration as miles are added. May require tire balancing soon. Have used in cold climate during ski season to Tahoe and snow & ice performance was respectable overall. Wet performance was never an issue but it was mostly due to SH-AWD system on Acura rather than the tires. Based on the price of it's replacement, it wouldn't be my first choice as performance + wear ratio is rather high and there are better choice out there.

For the last 30,000 miles I have had Goodyear TripleTred tires. They had a very stiff side wall, very loud but provided great grip. I turned to Continental for my next tire because I wanted to try something new and the higher load rating along with the higher speed rating (even though I will never go 130 mph) leaves me with a little bit more confidence when driving/cornering quickly. The tire feels completely different from the TripleTreds I was using. They are much quieter, ride much better and provide much better grip in the rain/dry. I haven't tested them in the snow/ice yet so I can't report. They do have a softer side wall and as result steering response is down just a bit but still gives plenty of confidence. The Honda Element has one of the hardest stock suspension set-ups I have experienced but these tires are a perfect match because they soften out bumps while providing unbelievable grip and great steering feel. They only cost $116 each and for that price I don't understand why someone would buy the Michelin LTX for over $170. The money you save with the CrossContact LX Sport will make up for the reduced tire wear and in my opinion the CrossContact LX Sport is a tire for people who like driving while the Michelin LTX is a tire for driving people to work and to the store.

OEM tyres on my wife's 2016 Honda Pilot Touring, first time running Continental and have been very impressed. 48,000 miles of day to day driving in and around Houston, plus long road trips in Texas and to Wyoming, Idaho, Chicago, and Florida. Was very impressed by snow and ice capability for a non-snow tyre during snow/ice storm when we were in Colorado last year. Wet stability and traction is great during monsoon like rains we get in SE Texas. Dry traction is also great - though my lead foot can really chirp them off the line. For a big box, the Pilot can be really hustled along well, but the electric power steering loses a lot of the feel so its hard to really grade for outright steering response - they're H rated comfort tyres, not the telepathic W rated Kumho's I have on my G35 6MT. Very impressed with these CrossContact Sport's, only replacing 2 of them at the moment because of punctures, otherwise could get easily another 8000 miles out of them.

My Continental CrossContact LX Sport tires are amazing on my GLE 350! Traction and highway performance is incredibly smooth. Excellent grip, breaking, acceleration, bump absorption, and speed maintenance. I had Michelins before and they were sluggish. Cost me $1800 for a set of 4 at the dealership, could have got them cheaper shopping around. Not great in heavy snow. Once I ran over a sharp curb at 30-40 mph and they busted where the tread meets the wall (I didn't know) but kept going for months before the dealership noticed it when they raised it up on the lift when i took it in for an oil change.

The tire is a spare and I ordered it because it was the same tire on my purchased vehicle. Good ride, quiet and stable.

These tires came stock on my wife's Acura MDX and thus far they are impressing me greatly. Considering these are not UHP tires, the cornering grip is excellent and nearing grip levels of the UHP tires on some of my performance cars. I found this out accidentally since the MDX hides its speed very well and sometimes I find myself going into a corner a little hot. They are also very comfortable tires. I don't hear much road noise out of them nor do they squeal or complain when you start pushing them. These tires match the car well and I am more than willing to spend the extra money on another set of Conti's for this car vs. finding something a little cheaper.

Tires are good for OE, about 22K Miles on them and thread is about 50% worn most likely will need to be replaced for next winter. Would expect longer life given my driving style. Overall comfort and road noise is good handling in the corners could be a lot better.

These tires were OE on my jeep renegade, after only 17,000 miles they are worn out. I've never had a set of tires wear so fast. I would never buy these again.

fairly good tire, easy handling but as they wore done the wet driving became touchy. oh, yeah, and they wore out at 32,000 mile, very depressing.

I will start by saying this is the tire that came on my Blazer when I leased it new, THEY ARE GARBAGE. 15,000 miles and they're already half worn down 6/32. I drove through a winter storm with them and was so stressed out by the time I got to my destination because the AWD Blazer was struggling to keep traction going in a straight line! Needless to say, I will need to replace these soon as winter has just started in NE Ohio, and Continental will not be getting any money from me. Any positive attributes the tire has are COMPLETELY overshadowed by the super fast wear, completely unacceptable snow traction, and the fact that a set of 4 is well over $1,500. Buy any tire but this one. Trust me.
