Michelin Defender LTX Platinum 

Excellent tires from the moment they were installed. Switched from run flats to these and the comfort difference was amazing. I live in the NW and we have wet conditions 9 months of the year, these tires have no hydroplaning issues in standing water. They displace water well and are great in both wet & dry conditions.

Compare to my previous general tires these are much better tires. I love the wet traction and the way they are so quiet while driving. Since they are designed for SUV they seem more stable and still deliver very comfortable ride.

I had Yokohama Scorpions before. Didn’t get the tread life out of them and as they wore they became annoyingly noisy like constant droning road noise. These Continentals are handling great thru snow, ice, wet and dry.

These are my 2nd set of tires for my 2012 Tacoma. My first set lasted many years with getting close to 100,000 miles on them. I did a lot of highway driving as well as beach driving. These tires held up great so when it was time to replace it was a no brainer to go with the same. It goes without saying that driving on ice isn’t easy and that would be the only negative of these tires but I don’t think any tire is good on ice.
In the snow they work great. In the sand, airing down you have no issues. I’ve never gotten stuck with these tires. I highly recommend these tires.

First set of Continental tires I have owned, these do require about 1-2 psi higher than the recommended amount by the car manufacturer for this size, once I figured that our the tires came alive, quiet, great ride with better than expected dry & wet traction.

Great tire, comfortable and giving confidence

This is my second set of Conti Cross Contacts on this car. I tried some Pirellis in the middle and prefer the ride and tread wear of the continental. My wife mainly drives them just back and forth to work, but I’ll take the car weekly to log some miles and get it warm and for what this car is I find them to be just about a perfect match. Ride is very comfortable but not too soft, noise is very low, wet and light snow traction is great. If we get DEEP snow like the 2 feet we had last week, my wife’s car is staying in the driveway, but for up to 6-8 inches of fluffy stuff they’re great when paired with AWD or 4wd on a crossover.

Tires were reasonable price, ride is comfortable and quiet.

This is the second set of these tires I have purchased. I purchased them a second time due to the performance of the first set. The first set: I had on the vehicle for about 5 years and 75K+ miles. They gave extremely good performance in various conditions and I would suggest these tires to anyone.

My experience with this tire has been excellent so far. They're smooth, quiet, and are wearing evenly. They feel much more stable and resistant to hydroplaning in the rain than prior set of tires on my car (Michelin Defender T+H). Two minor complaints: the tread does seem to pick up small stones very easily. I also have noticed the impact resonance mentioned in Tire Rack test videos over expansion joints and similar sharp bumps at highway speeds. Neither are a big deal in the grand scheme, but the impact noise is definitely noticeable on lousy highway stretches.
