The CrossContact LX25 is Continental's Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season tire developed for the drivers of crossovers and small SUVs who want a comfortable, luxurious ride combined with confident, all-season capability. The CrossContact LX25 is designed to provide a smooth, quiet ride plus crisp handling and sure-footed traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions, including light snow.
Continental's Next Generation EcoPlus+ Technology compound is molded into the CrossContact LX25's symmetric tread pattern. Comfort Ride Technology places an absorption layer below the tread to deliver a smooth, comfortable ride without sacrificing steering response, and the continuous circumferential ribs help reduce tread noise. The Next Generation EcoPlus+ Technology tread compound helps extend tread life and reduce stopping distances in wet conditions, while the wide, circumferential grooves allow water to flow through the footprint to enhance hydroplaning resistance. Lateral and diagonal sipes provide biting edges for traction in slippery conditions, and Traction Grooves feature biting teeth to trap snow and create snow-to-snow traction.
The internal construction of the CrossContact LX25 utilizes a polyester cord body supporting two heavy-duty, steel belts. The spirally wound, polyamide reinforcement helps stabilize the footprint to provide high-speed capability and handling, and the Comfort Ride Technology absorption layer is located above the reinforcement to maximize ride quality.

All-Season vs. All-Weather Tires: What’s the Best Touring Tire for Premium CUVs? – 2024 Test 2 – With Winter Update (22:11)
We’ve tested Touring All-Season tires before, but never like this! Eight Touring tires, the best of the best, both 3PMSF branded [all-weather] and traditional all-season options, take to the street and the track to see how they stack up. Using our new Alfa Romeo Stelvio to represent the popular CUV segment, TJ and Brent put these eight contenders through the paces on the road, on the track, and in the winter elements to get a read on what to consider when comparing all-weather vs. all-season tires.
Drivers consistently rate the Continental CrossContact LX25 as an excellent all-season choice for crossovers and SUVs, with standout scores (9-10) in comfort, smooth ride quality, and low noise levels. Treadwear receives strong praise, with many noting consistent performance over time. Winter traction impresses in snow and slush, while wet grip and hydroplaning resistance earn high marks for confident handling. Dry traction and responsive steering round out its strengths, described as reliable and precise. A few isolated lower scores in icy conditions don't detract from its overall reputation as a well-rounded, dependable tire for year-round driving.

...Handles very well in rain, even in heavy rain...
So far tires are great. Road noise is a little more than expected only due to previous ratings I had read. Handles very well in rain, even heavy rain. Have not experienced any snow with these and living in Canada will be switching to snow tires so likely will not have any experience. So far they are an excellent tire and the only thing that would prevent me from re-purchase is premature wear.

...I feel confident in rain, snow, and ice on them which I get here in Wichita, KS...
I've been very happy with this set of tires. I feel like they meet that blend of quality and value that I look for. Are they the cheapest? No. Are they the most expensive? No. Are they the best value for my MDX? I think so. There weren't many other options once I narrowed things down and after a year on them I'm incredibly pleased. The road noise is minimal, the car still corners as well as ever and I feel confident in rain, snow, and ice on them which I get here in Wichita, KS. Continental is a brand I've purchased in the past and will again in the future.

...The Continental CrossContact LX25 has superb wet and snow traction and had a long tread life...
I had this same tire on a different vehicle (2009 Volvo XC70 T6) before selling the car. The Continental CrossContact LX25 was best tire I had on that vehicle (comparing to OEM Continental Contact 4x4, Michelin Primacy MXV4, Michelin Premier A/S)-Noting the Michelins were very good too. The Continental CrossContact LX25 has superb wet and snow traction and had a long tread life. So it was an easy decision to buy this tire for the 2015 Honda CR-V.

Good traction in wet, dry, snowy conditions... Very responsive to steering wheel input without being overly so...
Good amount of tread to begin with (1 to 2 16ths more than average tires in this class). Easy to balance during mounting (watched the techs and they used very few weights and took very little time to balance these tires). No wobble or vibration at any speed. Rides extremely quiet and smooth. Plenty of cracks, potholes and divots in the pavement this time of year hereto test this on. Good traction in wet, dry, snowy conditions. HAVE NOT used these in deep snow yet. Very responsive to steering wheel input without being overly so. Look very similar to OEM tires, but OEM tires were used up within 20,000 miles (you read that right) in average driving conditions (NO OFF ROAD USE on the OEM tires). Overall height is very comparable to OEM tires - speedometer is still accurate. After only 500 miles, these Conti's have proven to be everything I'd hoped for.

...Tires like glue on dry roads, both smooth and quiet...
Only 600 miles on tires, but already a big improvement over the original Michelin Latitudes. Tires like glue on dry roads, both smooth and quiet. Living in Washington State light to heavy rain is normal winter weather and these tires highly resist hydroplaning, and the wet traction is almost like driving on dry roads. Still too early to determine wear, but no unusual issues like out of balance, cupping, outer-edge wear. Did a 3-day trip to local ski resort with 6 -10 inches of snow and tires handled it like snow tires. So far, well worth the cost compared to the Michelins. Will do another update after 5,000 miles or more.

Very good tire , grips the road very well in wet and dry conditions. Very little wear after a year of daily driving . I have not experienced snow or ice yet but if they handle like they did in heavy rain u think the tires will be fine.

High marks highlight a smooth, quiet cabin experience, ideal for crossover/SUV drivers prioritizing all-season refinement. A few 7-8 scores still reflect solid performance in its category.

I haven't had them long enough to pass judgment on the treadwear, but the ride quality (smooth and quiet) and wet traction meet my high expectations...
I had previous experience with this tire, and gave only brief consideration for anything else. The wet pavement traction was the most important factor for me, followed by ride quality, then treadwear. I haven't had them long enough to pass judgment on the treadwear, but the ride quality (smooth and quiet) and wet traction meet my high expectations. The price, especially with the rebates, was a bonus. Supremely happy buyer here.

...They have been on the car for one year and accumulated 10,000 miles... The tread-wear is at 9/32 so happy with that...
These tires were installed on my Wife's 2019 Chevy Equinox. First time using them as I usually go for Goodyear and General tires. I must say that the reviews I read that helped me decide to purchase them were spot on. They have been on the car for one year and accumulated 10,000 miles. No noticeable noise at all and we went down to Florida and back to NY to test the noise level in the rain, the dry and in the snow around 3 inches. The tread-ware is at 9/32 so happy with that. I also purchased them recently for my 2016 Mazda CX-5 so stay tuned after some time goes by. I will be sticking with these tires from now on as they are the best I have purchased. They inspire confidence in nasty conditions.
