The Baja Boss A/T is Mickey Thompson's Rugged All-Terrain tire developed for drivers of pickup trucks, vans and full-sized SUVs looking for capable off-road performance while maintaining predictable on-road handling. Combining aggressive looks and bold traction features with civilized road manners, the Baja Boss A/T is built to deliver year-round traction in all conditions both on and off-road, including light snow.
A durable, all-season tread compound is molded into an asymmetric pattern engineered to balance noise comfort and grip on pavement, with loose surface traction for off-road pursuits. The Silica-Reinforced Compound improves wet performance while providing increased cut-and-chip resistance for coarse roads and extreme off-road conditions. Extreme Sidebiters offer bold looks and added protection from sharp objects, while also helping create traction on off-camber terrain. Generous siping and grooves provide extensive biting edges for enhanced traction in wet, light snow and icy road conditions.
Internal construction of non-LT Baja Boss A/T tires feature a robust two-ply casing focused on balancing durability and comfort. LT and high-flotation tires feature a three-ply construction with the added benefit of Powerply XD which adds a heavier denier body cord to the third casing ply for increased puncture resistance and to help quicken steering response and stability under heavier loads.
12.50" (315mm) and lower width Baja Boss A/T tires meet the industry's severe snow service requirements and are branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.
Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

...For normal driving in dry and wet conditions on city roads, freeways, smooth roads, lousy roads, and through standing water, they are really quite exceptional, for an A/S tire. Handling and braking in all conditions is well above my expectations...
This tire is OE on the 2015 Audi A3. To be honest, I don't like or use all-season tires. My standard procedure, for cars that don't have OE summer tires (the A3 does have that option but they're stupidly sized 19" along with sport package etc.), is to replace OE A/S tires with summer tires the same day I take a new car home or otherwise as soon as possible. If I'm living somewhere that requires cold-weather tires, which is anywhere it gets under 45degreeF regardless of precipitation, I get a wheel+tire combo from Tire Rack. I've done that for over 15 years. Having said all that, I broke with tradition with this car. I do still plan to replace these with better-sized 16" or 17" summer tires and wheels soon. However, for now I'm using these 18" OE A/S tires, and they are surprisingly good. It's the first time in my life I've been anything but disappointed with an A/S tire. For normal driving in dry and wet conditions on city roads, freeways, smooth roads, lousy roads, and through standing water, they are really quite exceptional, for an A/S tire. Handling and braking in all conditions is well above my expectations. They are relatively quiet too. I would never use these on snow or ice. I think I'll keep these awhile longer and see how things go. Not having to plunk down $1100+ to ditch underperforming OE A/S tires the day I buy a new car is kind of nice.

...They bite well on wet and dry pavement, are responsive, and feel very firm in hard cornering and remain able to divert water well to avoid hydroplaning...
I am very particualr about tires; probably overly so. All rotations were conducted on time and as per manufacture's recommendation. These were OEM on our 2015 Jeep Cherokee Limited 4x4 (225/60/18). Originally, they rode well and were very quiet. At about 20k, I started noticing more noise and an imbalance. Our tire shop re-balanced finding no weights missing or damaged, but 2 of the tires slightly out of balance. At 30k, I found two of the tires 1/32nd from the wear-bar and the other two approximately 1/16th from the wear-bar. I have also noticed small cracks running for varying lengths down inside the tread grooves. I'm not terribly concerned about them alone, as they are small, but combined with the treadwear at this stage of tire-life, I'm not impressed. I have not checked the date code on the tires as I do not intend to go through the pain of a warranty claim. There is currently "more" noise, but the tires are still reasonably quiet. They continue to bite well on wet and dry pavement, are responsive, and feel very firm in hard cornering and remain able to divert water well to avoid hydroplaning. I plan to replace before our winter begins here in November, so will not be able to experience how they do at this stage of wear in snow.

...I've driven the car at least 5 times in heavy rain and have not had a single problem in wet conditions. It's weird - These things actually seem kind of beastly...
I felt the need to review these tires after seeing so many negative review online. This model came standard / OEM on my wife's Regal TourX. Initially I thought I might force my wife to replace them before even bringing it home but decided not to spend the extra $$$. While we live in a city, the car has mostly been used for road trips during COVID so about 80-90% highway. So far these tires have been excellent. They are quiet, provide a comfortable ride and perform overall very well for Grand Touring tires (I have winter and summer sets for my other car). I've driven the car at least 5 times in heavy rain and have not had a single problem in wet conditions. It's weird - These things actually seem kind of beastly... I don't know if they changed the manufacturing process on these or overall improved quality but they seem significantly better than a lot of the reviews on here. Not quite 10K miles but the tread wear looks good. No experience in snow but I think with the AWD etc. they would be decent enough when driven cautiously. Nothing is going to match winter tires for snow / ice conditions - probably the biggest deficiency for all-weather tires. While these are TPC spec and have "ContiSilent" I'd maybe look at replacing with the PureContact LS (I like Continental), or maybe even the Vredestein QUATRAC Pro - those have great ratings and less expensive. If you're looking to keep OEM / some of the advanced tech on these tires, then my opinion is it is worth it as they seem pretty solid to me.

Winter traction receives strong praise with many customers scoring 9s and 10s for snow grip and confident handling. While most ratings are positive (7-10), some note reduced ice performance in severe conditions, aligning with all-season capabilities.

...My car is not awd and I feel completely safe in the harsh winters and rain. These continental tires have been on my car for about to be three years and I'm now just feeling like I have to replace them for this up coming winter. In one year I put 25,000 miles on these tires traveling, in all kinds of weather I have traveled and was able void alot of accidents because of them.
One thing Nissan dealership did right was put continental tires on their vehicles. I'm so happy and satisfied, I refuse to purchase any other tires for my car now. ...winter performance is above average but nothing to brag about. does reasonable on ice...
Factory installed tire on 2016 Chevy Malibu Premier. aggressive driver, 45% highway, 45% city, 10% gravel. I live in the midwest so we get ice, snow, plenty of rainy days and brutal heat. Exceptional treadwear, 63K miles and just now down to 4/32 and time to replace. Rotated each oil change. Good wet grip, slightly better dry grip. winter performance is above average but nothing to brag about. does reasonable on ice. reliable and predictable steering response and cornering grip. Ride comfort is fair, but more points come off there due to the lower profile nature of my particular size rather than the tire design itself. I drive over crappy, pothole laced roads and even worse railroad crossings in an industrial area to get to/from daily so the tires take hard hits and so far, no broken belts, bubbled sidewalls or other premature failures. thick rubber near the bead has done well to protect the rim edges. Road noise - Great when new, but noise increased exponentially at about the 6-7/32nds mark. It's time to replace but these are by far one of the loudest passenger tires i've owned after the 45-50K miles mark. TL:DR - had i paid for these directly rather than factory install, i would have been satisfied but not amazed given the street price per. It's handled rough driving and stretches of pavement in such disrepair it's hard to call them roads like a champ, i've had plenty of broken belts and bubbled sidewalls from chug holes and railroad crossings out of lesser tires. I think you can match these for less money, but they are a solid choice.

...Light snow no problem, have never tested on deep or ice...
Having seen negative reviews on these, especially regarding blow-out and flats, i have to wonder about quality control on these. As another reviewer put it, despite being a winter/summer tire guy, i have been pleasantly surprised by their 4 season capability. Quite good in the dry and wet, tho no competition for the Conti ECS summer tires on my bimmer. Light snow no problem, have never tested on deep or ice. At 38 K still have 7/32 all around so figure to do at least one more winter and summer! Will still likely go to winter/summer to check how much of car's performance I have left on table. Worth pointing out that i have hit some Chicago potholes at speed that left me worried about suspension and tires have taken it!

...Dry traction is decent along with cornering in dry conditions...
These were factory OEM tires on my car, so wasn't expecting much and was proved right. I drive some city but mostly highway. I have a long gravel drive with a steep hill.
Dry traction is decent along with cornering in dry conditions. Noise level is pretty good. There ends the positives of these tires. Absolutely dangerous in wet conditions. Even the slightest puddle will send the vehicle into a HYDRO PLANING DEATH SWERVE. This is exacerbated by the relatively quick wearing of the tire which is about par for factory installed tires. Outer sipes seem to disappear as the tire wears and prevents water from exiting the tread. Snow traction is ok at best. Ice traction is almost non existent which is to be expected since they are not winter tires.

...The tire is very predicable at the limits... sometimes I get the highway and the tires makes car feel planted at highway speeds keeping up with other vehicles...
This is my second set on the rear wheel of my Smart Electric. Although the car is small it accelerates fast and extremely agile/nimble.. because of its high torque on the and my driving style it eats the rubber quicker.. last set I replaced it with 19k miles. The tire is very predicable at the limits and cut well through light snow! sometimes I get the highway and the tires makes car feel planted at highway speeds keeping up with other vehicles ( and turning heads of the other drivers due the car size !)

...they ride well they are quiet... My only very minor complaint is they are a little soft and don't corner as well as other tires I have had...
On 4/11/18 I purchased a 2017 Buick LaCrosse with 8700 certified pre owned miles I now have 14550 miles and am absolutely happy with the OEM Continental tires they ride well they are quiet have a lot of tread life left they do very well in all wet conditions no snow yet (and would be happy never to get any) so i can't rate them for winter yet My only very minor complaint is they are a little soft and don't corner as well as other tires I have had Also I have never owned a Buick before and they do ride softly so a little less cornering seems to be the price paid for a soft quiet ride over all great tires and I would replace with the same

...The ride is very comfortable (205 55 16) and they have worn really good...
These tires came with my Golf when I purchased it. The tires perform really well in wet conditions as well as dry. The ride is very comfortable (205 55 16) and they have worn really good. I still have thread to go through this next winter. At this rate, I could realistically get 75K miles on them. I rotate them at every oil change (5-6K miles) and my drive is mostly hwy. On the hwy i will be doing 70-80mph and in city I drive normal. I would buy them again.

...OEM for my Malibu, all 59,800k on the same set. Final measurements had 3/32-5/32 between the 4 tires...
If you want performance and durability, pick a set of these up. If you want quiet/comfort, stay away.
The good: OEM for my Malibu, all 59,800k on the same set. Final measurements had 3/32-5/32 between the 4 tires. My daily commute consisted of stop/go often in pouring rain as well as cross country trips. Never had a fear with dry grip when cornering at high speeds on the I-40 in NC through the mountains. Never broke traction on wet asphalt but they did begin hydroplaning towards the end of their life, early life they were fantastic. Also did some unsanctioned recreational rallying on a wet clay road. Rear (non-drive) tires felt loose but never got stuck or left me feeling out of control.
The bad: autoshops never seemed to get these tires in proper balance even with a fresh alignment, slight but constant steering wheel vibrations were a daily occurrence at speeds over 45mph.
The ugly: These tires were always LOUD but were especially bad at high speeds. This is why I made the switch to the P Zero AS 3 and the couple hundred miles I've put on the new tires is enough to confirm the Continentals were the cause of both the vibration and noise, not the vehicle.
Not a bad tire, the performance and durability were superb, but as someone who enjoys listening to music and talking through android auto/apple carplay, the P Zero AS 3's are less expensive, more quiet, comparable performance and have a better warranty. For that reason, I'm unlikely to purchase another set.
