The Wrangler SR-A is Goodyear's Highway All-Season tire developed for the drivers of pickup trucks, crossovers and sport utility vehicles. Extensively used as Original Equipment on a wide range of popular light trucks, the Wrangler SR-A is available in a comprehensive range of 15" through 20" rim diameter sizes. The Wrangler SR-A is designed to reduce noise, vibration and ride harshness while providing all-season traction, even on gravel roads and in light snow.

The Wrangler SR-A features Goodyear's WetTrac Technology that molds an enhanced wet traction tread compound into a symmetric tread design which combines independent tread blocks, wide circumferential grooves and hundreds of zigzag sipes to promote traction in wet and wintry conditions. The wide circumferential grooves help move water through the tread for wet traction while self-cleaning lateral grooves in the shoulders help evacuate water, mud and snow.

The tire's internal structure includes twin, high-tensile steel belts on top of a polyester cord casing. Heavy-duty LT-metric-sized Load Range D & Load Range E tires are reinforced with spirally wound nylon to promote strength, even wear and extra durability.

...Perform well in wet conditions (I haven't hydroplaned since putting them on a year ago)...

These tires are a significant improvement over the stock tires.
Pros:
Perform well in wet conditions (I haven't hydroplaned since putting them on a year ago)
Little road noise
Did well in the snow (Slushy snow)
Have done well on forestry roads, but I would hesitate going beyond that
Improved traction and handling compared to stock

Cons:
Reduced gas mileage (Initially, I saw a drop of 5mpg. After a year of use, I have a 2-3 mpg drop compared to stock)
The tires need to be road force balanced regularly to maintain a smooth ride.

...I got to drive them through a lot of snow in the Northeast this winter. I found in Light snow and Ice not bad. They will get you up and through most of that with a little lateral slippage here and there...

30,000+ miles on them now, and about halfway through the tread. They are excellent in dry and wet conditions though I gave it a slightly lower score with Hydroplaning. In Dry or wet I never lose traction or grip. The tire is quiet and smooth. I got to drive them through a lot of snow in the Northeast this winter. I found in Light snow and Ice not bad. They will get you up and through most of that with a little lateral slippage here and there. Deep snow is a different story. Not nearly as good as the Falken Wilpeak AT Trail I had on my other Subaru (Outback). Those tires literally got me through 3 feet of snow in Vermont one day. The Conti is just ok in Deep Snow and is a HT tire not an AT tire so understandable. I think my preference is to have a jack of all trades tire so an AT or the newer All Weather tires may be more for me but I can't really complain about the Conti's overall performance. The Terrain Contact is totally a great Highway Tire comparable with the Michelin LTX MS etc.

...It's not hard off roading just trail riding but the tires have fantastic traction in mud or snow...

I have a few hunting and fishing spots I go to at least twice a month and the tires are flawless. It's not hard off roading just trail riding but the tires have fantastic traction in mud or snow. Very quiet on the highway so far, and feel solid on the roadway. Tire Rack was great to work with, the customer service helped me in my selection, they were right on the money. Great tire, Great service

...Very pleased with all aspects of tire performance especially handling, low noise level, ride and treadwear...

Fantastic tire, highly recommend. Very pleased with all aspects of tire performance especially handling, low noise level, ride and treadwear. In my opinion as good or better than OEM tire. Tire has performed excellent under all conditions including pulling 25' travel trailer over half of total milage driven thus far. Would definitely buy same time again!
