The TerrainContact H/T is Continental's Highway All-Season tire designed for the drivers of pickup trucks, Jeeps, and full-size SUVs who want a robust, durable tire with balanced on-road performance and confident all-season capability. TerrainContact H/T tires are engineered to deliver a quiet ride and long life, plus sure-footed traction in dry, wet, and wintry conditions, including light snow.

Utilizing Continental's +Silane additives for enhanced traction, longevity, and cut- and chip resistance, the tread compound of the TerrainContact H/T is molded into a purposeful, symmetric pattern. The large, stable shoulder blocks help deliver confident traction and durability, and noise blockers reduce airborne sound for a more pleasant driving experience. Computer-Optimized Pattern Shifting further reduces the sound created by the tread pattern to deliver a quiet, comfortable ride. Wet traction and braking are aided by the +Silane compound, and the wide, circumferential grooves and lateral notches help evacuate water from the footprint to resist hydroplaning. Full-depth, interlocking sipes deliver stable handling and braking under heavy loads, in addition to improving traction in wet, snowy or icy conditions. Traction Grooves feature gripping teeth inside the grooves to retain snow in the footprint for snow-to-snow traction.

The internal construction of the TerrainContact H/T utilizes a two-ply, polyester casing to balance comfort and durability, and two heavy-duty, steel belts stabilize the tread for confident handling and durability. Dual, spirally wound cap plies further reinforce the tire and provide high-speed capability and handling.

Great upgrade from the stock Bridgestone Dueler Alenza H/L that came with the truck. Fixed my two biggest complaints: wet traction and steering. These are planted in the rain and the corner stability and steering response are excellent. The XL variant is a little stiffer but I certainly wouldn't say they ride rough. Overall very happy with them and highly recommend. Handle 1500+ lbs in the bed like it's nothing.

...They are a major improvement over the factory Goodyear Eagle LS-2 which had poor wet traction.

After reading the reviews for the Continentals I thought I would give them a try.
They are very quiet and smooth riding.I have them inflated to 35 PSI.

I will update again at 10,000 miles.

We live in the rural part of a rural state, so miles add up pretty quickly. As this has been one of the rainiest summers on record, I can safely say that wet traction has been quite good, although with only 1000 miles on these tires they're still brand new. No issues with hydroplaning, and the old Goodyears that came off were definitely getting slick. On the few dry days we've had, these track nice and straight and are very quiet. Overall very pleased so far and looking forward to see how they do in the snow.

...Traction is great, on dry roads, wet roads, and in snow...

I bought these tires because I didn't like the standard size for my truck. Continental exchanged them with no problem. The only problem I have is they can't be balanced. This is the second set. The first set bounced between 45 and 50 mph. these are a little better. The ride is as good as an LT tire can be. Traction is great, on dry roads, wet roads, and snow. I will never buy these tires again.

These are outstanding tires for our Subaru Sport. So much better than the Yokohamas that came with the car in every metric. ...I've been very pleasantly surprised by the Continental regarding handling, traction (wet or dry), and the lack of noise.

Overall, these are excellent tires.

The OEM (H rated) tires were replaced immediately after truck purchase and replaced with the TERRAINCONTACT H/T. Typically my go-to tire would have been the Michelin Defender, however Michelin didn't make an H rated tire in my size.

I've been very pleasantly surprised by the Continental regarding handling, traction (wet or dry), and the lack of noise. All three areas are improved over Michelin, based on my previous experience. TR's reviews show Michelin #1 and Continental #2 with the ratings being very close to one another.

I would buy the TERRAINCONTACT H/T again.

...These tires so far are very comfortable, take potholes/bumps well, and do not tend to follow road grades...

Just installed the tires. I previously had Kuhmo ht51, and those were a fine tire, but they did have an issue with tramlining/tread squirm on some road surfaces. These tires so far are very comfortable, take potholes/ bumps well, and do not tend to follow road grades. This is just the initial impressions, and as I rack up miles i will update the review.

...There is little perceptible noise when driving on interstates, though noise does increase on concrete highways. The ride is comfortable and handling is excellent...

I spent a lot of time researching new tires for the used Armada I bought in April 2023. I settled on the Continental TerrainContact because of its reputed low noise, handling in snow/rain/dry, and durability. So far, I have not been disappointed. I have driven in everything this winter. I drove for over an hour in deep, slushy snow on only partially unplowed roads during a blizzard. I drove in torrential downpours. Bad weather handling was my greatest concern (most tires handle dry weather well), and these passed with flying colors. I never worried on my drives around PA or a recent drive to VT. There is little perceptible noise when driving on interstates, though noise does increase on concrete highways. The ride is comfortable and handling is excellent. So far, I have not found any downsides to these tires, though they are not the cheapest out there.

...Quiet, predictable, comfortable and excellent grip... They're very soft, which leads to their outstanding traction in all situations, comfort and quiet ride...

These are great tires. Quiet, predictable, comfortable and excellent grip. The only drawback is punctures, and this might go for any tire in the same category. I've had to plug many holes in these tires. They're very soft, which leads to their outstanding traction in all situations, comfort and quiet ride, but also allows for punctures. The tread is also long lasting, I usually go through tires at around 30,000 miles, but I'm still using these and have had them on for over 30k. I did replace both rear tires for nails near the sidewall, so that helps. TireRacks warranty is fantastic. I'll probably upgrade to a light truck or E rated tire for better durability when these finally wear out. That said, these are some of the best tires I've ever used on a pickup truck, and I've been driving trucks my entire adult life. I drive at least 80 highway miles every day. I've also had these on dirt and gravel roads and some grass fields, they're really good everywhere including snow and rain.

I had a similar continental tire on a newer F-350 and they are great tires. I purchased these for my 2006 f-350 and I could not be happier. They are quite simply the best tires I have ever had on F350 . The tread wear , the traction, and most of all the quiet ride. These are far superior than anything else out there . A great all-around tire.

...Keep in mind it is a 70,000-mile tire and the tread life is just now in the yellow... I am hoping to get to spring and summer and possibly fall before replacing them. If that happens they will have 80,000 plus miles...

I was tired of road noise and saw reviews of how quite this tire was. I had never thought of buying Continentals before. But the tire has be awesome. Very quiet, my wife noticed that right away. Handling has been good as well. Does great in rain and wet roads. Also does well in breaking. The only knock I saw on the tire was snow. From miles 0-40,000 it did fine, no real issues with getting through snow. Now that were at 72,000, it had a few issues with our last 8-inch snow. Keep in mind it is a 70,000-mile tire and the tread life is just now in the yellow.

I am hoping to get to spring and summer and possibly fall before replacing them. If that happens they will have 80,000 plus miles. I don't go off road so I cannot speak to that aspect of the tire. But it is a highway tire.
