Does this tire fit your vehicle?

Tires are designed specifically for different vehicles and wheel sizes. Tell us about your vehicle or the specific size you want so we can help find the right tires for you.

The Discoverer STT PRO is Cooper's Off-Road Maximum Traction light truck tire developed for the drivers of pickup trucks, Jeeps and SUVs who want confident, go-anywhere traction without sacrificing on-road performance. The Discoverer STT PRO is designed to provide impressive off-road capability combined with acceptable levels of on-road traction and civility.

Beginning with a robust, chip- and tear-resistant compound, the Discoverer STT PRO is molded into an aggressive, high-void tread pattern. Deep starting tread depths and alternating cleats and scoops in the shoulder lugs enhance traction in mud and other soft terrain, and mud release dimples help the tire self-clean. Anti-stone retention ribs at the base of the tread grooves eject small rocks to assist with preventing punctures due to stone drills. Wide lateral and circumferential channels aid hydroplaning resistance, and in-block siping creates additional biting edges for improved grip in slippery conditions.

The Discoverer STT PRO utilizes Cooper's Armor-Tek3 Construction technology, which features a robust, three-ply polyester casing to improve puncture resistance. Two wide, strong steel belts support the tread and are reinforced by a single nylon cap ply.

While Off-Road Maximum Traction tires, which are often called mud tires, are branded with the M+S symbol and able to churn through deep snow, their typical oversize applications and the relative absence of snow-biting sipes in their large lugs can challenge their on-road wintertime traction on packed snow and icy surfaces.

...wet traction, like any one legger diff means a spin off the line but the rest performs great...

Ever since I bought my s10, these are the only tires it sees. Daily commuting is a treat. Running down the curvy back roads, if you could forget about the weight of the truck, those tires punch well above their class. hauling firewood, they take the road perfectly. wet traction, like any one legger diff means a spin off the line but the rest performs great. So much so that I've gotten a set for my 66' El Camino. of course, the raised white lettering has to be on the visible side and unlike the FAR MORE EXPENSIVE BF Goodrich's, these don't discolor over time. not to mention, $100 cheaper a tire vs the latter.

...Wet traction is well implemented, and I never felt like the vehicle needed more grip for the circumstances...

Classic style with modern performance.

The ride seems athletic, yet well refined. Even when pushing this tire to its limits, the traction break away is smooth, and predictable. Wet traction is well implemented, and I never felt like the vehicle needed more grip for the circumstances. This tire feels comfortable with a low tire hum that fades into the background, and the hum never seemed intrusive. It absorbs bumps well, and does not loose composure when jostled like some other tires in the category.

I've run BFG Radial TAs forever, but they lacked performance in the wet. These Coopers are a step up in that department and are great all around.
